Hopefully the X Factor winner isn't partial to Coke!
It has JUST been announced that the winner of the X Factor competition will star in a Pepsi Super Bowl spot during February's Super Bowl XLVI!
Here's what Simon Cowell had to say about the newest prize for the X Factor winner:
"We’ve put our money where our mouth is, and now Pepsi has raised the bar to a level never before seen. We are going to find the next superstar in music - so it makes sense that Pepsi, with all of their success in music history is leading the way."
And here's what PepsiCo America Beverages' Chief Consumer Engagement Officer Frank Cooper had to say about it:
"For decades, Pepsi has put musical talent in its commercials on T.V.’s biggest stage – the Super Bowl. Pepsi has a long history of being the curator, creator and catalyst of exciting, new music; and THE X FACTOR partnership is a great way for us to continue to bring fresh musical talent to new generations."
