I loved the book - can't wait to see the movie.

Perez, why is this movie wonderful? Because of the subject matter? I'm sorry, but have you actually seen it yet? Unless you have, I don't think you should be calling it wonderful. There are plenty of movies-of-the-week that deal with issues like this, that are dreadful.

    Re: Demode

Agreed. I find most films with this theme to be condescending.

If she spoke louder she would sound like Joy from My Name is Earl :3

I can't wait! The book was awesome!

When I first looked at that picture I thought it was Michael Jackson

Loved the book and waiting for this movie to come out. It's been a bleak summer for avid movie watchers like myself who hate sequels and horror movies.

Re: kittendom – I also thought it was Michael Jackson.

The book was great and the movie does it justice. I saw the film last week and there wasn't a dry eye in the house at the end. It was beautifully acted, and the actress who plays Minnie stole every scene she was in! Enjoy!

I think this is going to be a funny, touching, and inspiring movie. I definitely am encouraged by the clip. I would never have thought to bring a rejection letter to an interview. Looks like it just might work. Its weird how people ask for you yo get a job to get a job. Lol
