Musician Gregg Allman has canceled his tour dates from August 26 to September 15 due to a persistent illness that will require him to be hospitalized.
The 63-year-old has an "upper respiratory condition" that will require him to stay in the hospital for several days with an additional four to six weeks of bed rest.
Allman underwent a successful liver transplant last year and was brave enough to go on tour just a few months later.
Unfortunately, the last leg of his most recent European tour had to be canceled due to the same illness.
Reps say that he's hoping to recover soon and will plan on rescheduling in late fall.
We hope so too, Gregg. It sounds serious, but you're a fighter and can push through this! Get better soon!
