Seriously - what did this guy expect from the network that brought us I Love Money?

Celebrity Rehab co-creator and former addict, Bob Forrest, has opened up about his decision to bring the addiction recovery process to reality television, and now claims that if he could go back and do it again, he would never have agreed to do it!

He explains:

"If I had to do it all over again, I don't think I'd walk into the office and say we should do this show. People were saying rehab is a joke. Rehab is a real thing. I don't like the editing of it. I don't like that they show the same thing over and over again. I don't like what it's become, technically."

Well, hey - we don't doubt that he had good intentions, but unfortunately, we live in a world now in which people will do just about anything to be in the limelight!

If anything, we think he should just be comforted to know that even if that's why some people are there, receiving treatment - at least at the end of the day, they are! And hopefully, they will be able to receive they help that many of them clearly, clearly need!

What do U think?? Should celebrity rehab be on the air?

Your comments do not relate to what Bob said at all. He doesn't like the editing and the repetitiveness of the show not the idea of it. It is not under his control.

the show is awesome but the editing is out of control, they just edit random clips together and you can't even tell what they're talking about, the bluntness of it is annoying

Some people on that show are on it for fame and limelight.I agree the editing is a bit overwhelming and over dramatic where they chop here and chop a scene there. Mike Starr is one of those people that was on that show who made me see how awful and addiction can truly be a disease.

I understand how he feels but this show made me understand addiction. I used to have no sympathy and now I realize that most of us are addicts of one sort or another. For me it is food. I'll be sad to not see another season. Maybe another network would have given it better justice.

He should feel bad! Its exploiting people at a very very!!!! vulnerable position and will clearly (which happens to all of them) they relapse AFTER seeing themselves from the embarrassment. :( It really should be a PRIVATE time- and lawd knows why stupid Michael is allowed a CELL PHONE during treatment - THAT IS RIDIC'k'! Are you not suppose to be interacting with ADDICTS on the outside? stupid. ANYTHING - for HIGH R
