Not just both being delicious, according to politician Allen West!
The Florida representative recently gave an interview, during which he was asked if the gay civil rights issue was similar to the movement for African Americans, to which he actually responded:
“You cannot compare me and my race to a behavior. I can’t change my color. People can change their sexual behavior. And I’ve seen people do that. Everyone has the same basic rights. I like chocolate chip ice cream and I will continue to like chocolate chip ice cream. So there’s no worry about me changing to vanilla. I’m not a a judge. I’m not the justice of the peace. So if they’re married, they’re married, OK? Nothing I can do about it.”
Okay, we're sorry, but WHAT?
First you claim that people can change their sexual behavior but then you assert that you won't be changing to 'vanilla.'
Sounds to us like the ice cream analogy, just like your RIDICULOUS argument that being gay is essentially a choice, is pretty uninformed!
You are right about one thing, though - there is NOTHING you can do about it!
EQUAL RIGHTS for ALL!
