Saint Angelina Refuses To Leave London Amidst The Riots

It seems like things are finally starting to calm down in London. According to reports, last night was relatively uneventful, save for one demonstration south-east London, where officers were pelted with missiles by a group of people.

Officers rounded up about 150 men. Don't get us wrong. By no means are we trying to diminish this violent act, but it is much tamer than some of the other horrible stories we've heard.

Many celebs fled the country when the riots started, including Kristen Stewart who is starting production on Snow White and the Huntsman. But there was one A-lister who wouldn't let the rioters scare her off. Angelina Jolie reportedly refused to have herself and her children evacuated from the city when the mayhem began and has stayed put in London all this week. An insider explains:

"Angelina has visited some of the most dangerous places on the planet and isn't about to pack her suitcase and evacuate just because a very small minority of violent youths have taken to the streets … Angelina and her family could not be safer. She has her own private security and the rioting is limited to areas that she is staying away from," an ex-member of the British police force tells me. "What you are seeing on television is just awful but it is confined to a few very small areas."

She's brave alright and she's teaching that right along to her kids. Those are going to be some fine, strong, upstanding men and women when they grow up.

We're just glad to hear that she and the kids were kept safe through all this.

You people are in war in the entire world, but when people in France, England, etc…are trying to change things by revolt, you're so shocked and makes things bigger that they are.

Yeah some stupids ones are burning 2 or 3 shops, there is always some bad in a revolution.

Like when you are in wars, you kill innocent people "accidentaly". Here at least they don't kill.
By the way I'm not english, and don't live in England, but I support every revolution in that shitty world.

  2. 2

no one fled, they just had other places to be, and the riots were in peckam, croydon, camden and brixton, no where near angelina jlie would be staying.

  3. 3

Brave? She also toured Baghdad when she was pregnant with twins, and had to wear a flak jacket, that's not brave it's plain stupid!

  4. 4

How noble of her, but the riot are nowhere near where she is staying.
It is just some riots. Happens everyday.
Stop making news where there is none, Perez.

  5. 5

oh fucken a mario - if this was somebody you don't like that had children, you'd be screaming about what shitty parents they were. you are an epic failure.

  6. 6

its cause this crazy insecure bitch doesnt want to leave her husband alone for 45 minutes cause hell polish his sausage with some other hoe!! CHEATERS

  7. 7

Saint Angelina….so ridiculous….and her bodyguards her childrens bodyguards yes there are a lot of them always around.

  8. 8

Saint? No. She's a dirty whore who was nowhere near where the riots were. But you wouldn't know that, seeing as how your brave self stayed at home, posting photos that were proven to have nothing to do with the riots and making your usual bad edits to what you copied and pasted from other sites. Do you honestly think that anyone takes seriously anything you say? You're a hack, not a journalist.

Re: IciParis – This is not a revolution. Hurting, robbing and killing innocent people doesn't solve anything. This is an unjustified riot in which people are plundering the livelihoods of people who worked to get where they are and start their businesses. Just some uneducated scum of the world destroying people's possessions, who did nothing to deserve this. So shut your stupid face and go have a real, peaceful protest if you want to change something, and actually make a difference, you idiot.

  10. 10

    Oh fuck off Mario.
The brave people are the ones that live on the council estates and the shop owners that have to watch their city be looted and vandalised by those rioters and they don't have the money to leave or pay for ridiculous security.
Not "Saint Angelina" with her security guards and her millions sitting in her Ivory Tower watching it all.
    Fuckwit.

Re: raccoon baby – What a peaceful message full of emptiness.

This is it, people who have lot of money deserve it, and people who are starving to death in the world deserve it, right ?
    I
was wring, you're not full of emptiness, you're full of shit.

Re: IciParis – Once an idiot, always an idiot.

The people getting robbed in these riots are not the elite, rich of the world. They are just small business owners. Open your eyes. The rioters are not dirt poor. They lack morals and education, clearly. They are selfish and stupid.

Re: IciParis – It's not a revolution. It's chavs that want TVs and new trainers. They have a "fuck the police" mentality, because they disrespect authority and think they should be allowed to do whatever they like. Their actions have no political motivation. Burning, looting and senseless acts of violence for FUN is not a revolution. These people are IN NO WAY starving! England's poor are some of the world's best taken care of. The government provides everything for they need, without them doing anything in return. They are provided with money, housing and healthcare. In the US, people are starving and homeless, but that doesn't happen in England. You don't want to work in England, you go to the Job Centre and ask for a handout. What do they have to rebel against? They can't afford a 50" TV, but their children aren't starving - that is NO REASON to riot! They dislike the rich, but who do they think is paying their way?!? Your comments are full of ignorance.

  14. 14

Re: Shaarrn – I agree. She's in Richmond, not Tottenham, Clapham or another area affected by the rioting. The brave people are those who assisted in the clean-up efforts after their neighbourhoods were ransacked by thugs, and the people who protected their neighbourhoods - some who lost their lives in the process.

  15. 15

She should just go out there and smile. That will make them stop rioting.

  16. 16

Fled the country… Jesus Christ it's not that bad. Flippin' hell! You'd think the whole of London was in revolt!

  17. 17

Why would Kristen Stewart have fled the country?!? You make it sound like the entire UK is under attack! It was only a few areas in England. The vast majority of the UK is very safe - no need to flee!

  18. 18

What an awesome mother to put her kids in harms way…to some how teach them something….

this woman should never have kids….she use to be a crack head.

Re: Serena Loves Mario – You have things a bit misconstrued thinking that the US doesn't give hand outs, around here it's similar to horses feeding at troughs. My city in particular is thinking about taxing the boroughs outlining the city. They are thinking about doing this because all of the ghetto trash that doesn't work (so they don't pay taxes) and they live for years upon years off the state government - the city is now in debt and the racist SOB mayor won't consider bankruptcy. People like that SHOULD starve, they are worthless as tits on a ball (including the mayor). If somebody in the US is starving, it's their own damn fault. Basically, we got em here too but they don't riot because the government continues to give, give, give. $25K houses that look decrepit on the outside with $75K cars sitting in the street on $20K rims with their $2K big screens and $3K leather sofas………..meanwhile, I'm trying to find a pot to piss in and expect nobody to pay my way but me……

Re: IciParis – you people…….shut the fuck up Canadian….we don't like you.

  21. @v@ says – reply to this

    21

Yeah, 'St. Angelina' will walk down the street with her kid cornucopia and calm and part the rioters like the red sea, ffsakes.

  22. 22

    Re:Kim K's Ugly Hippo Ass

Canadian people will probably appreciate that, but I'm not, so…you're just as stupid as the others ones who gives lesson about everything without knowing the feeling of beeing poor or in danger because of your skin color.

Re: April 20th – I'm an American and I think I know the system. I never said there were no handouts in the US. I simply said that there are MANY people that can't afford to feed their families and are homeless, which is something you don't see in England. You're incredibly insensitive to think all people who are starving and homeless deserve to starve to death, especially considering the large number of people who were laid off and are now searching for work and can't find anything. These people in England are NOT rioting because they're starving! You have no clue what the situation here is. These people's actions are out of selfishness and nothing more.

  24. 24

She does not want to leave Fad Pitt's side for a second.. The assistant on set of his latest movie is much younger and prettier.. karma…..

  25. 25

Re: Serena Loves Mario – Firstly, I wasn't attacking you but you were giving the impression that America has starving people hanging on street corners left and right because nobody will help them. When you spell neighbor with a "U" and start talking about England like you live there, what else was I to assume?
    *
Now, I don't think all people that are staving and homeless deserve death but the ones that don't want to work and want all the handouts, well, I have a hard time having pity and being okay with those handouts. If somebody doesn't have a job for years, I no longer think they can't get one, I know they don't want one. And some people just need to suck up that pride and take the receptionist job even if they are qualified for something better. I never said the riots in England weren't senseless and selfish, I was simply making a point that no matter what you give people like this, they'll never be happy.

  26. 26

Oh the absurdity of it all. Usually the kids are uprooted and dragged from one end of the planet to another on a whim. But now she decides they should not be uprooted when there is a riot nearby. Just another indication of insanity and poor judgement. I don't know what the hell she is teaching those kids. Only time will tell.

  27. 27

Re: April 20th – Of course the people that refuse to find jobs and instead want to live on our tax money should be contributing to society, rather than being given handouts. Handouts should be for people who don't have the ability to work. The people involved in these riots are predominantly the type of people that simply don't want to do anything but sit back and collect government money; they feel entitled to it, while the rest of us work hard and pay for them. I guess I misunderstood your comment that you have them there, but they don't riot because they are continually handed money. They're handed money here, too, but apparently that's not good enough for them.

  28. 28

Re: IciParis – then you have no fucking idea what you are talking about. it's not a simple revolt involving "2 or 3 shops" it's a mass riot involving several cities throughout england and people have been killed. it's no revolt over rights or anything of the sort. it's just idiotic youths with no prospects in life trying to ruin it for all the hard working people of britain.
being british i'm getting my facts right, maybe you should try getting yours straight.

  29. 29

Perezita, I am in London right now and it's NOTHING like US media si describing. Why are the US madia scary people back home and make everything more dramatic? I wonder.

  30. 30

Re: alemeh2 – The US media always exaggerates everything.

  31. @v@ says – reply to this

Re: alemeh2 – They blow it up bigger than it is because it sells commercials.
KimK@#20 - Speak for yourself, but take your freaking foot out of your mouth first. Canadians are the U.S.'s largest trading partners, and without them, unemployment would top 60%, and you'd be hiding your cans of food in your attic from local looters. It's Wall Street and financial pyramid thieves that aren't liked, and by the entire world.

  32. 32

I hate this Bitch, Maybe she is just scared her karma is coming to bite her in the ass.

  33. 33

The way you are reporting the London riots like they are some kind of civil emergancy where every non national should flee, really shows how naive and headline grabbing you are. Alot if not all of your research saying people have been advised to stay off the streets of Central London is purely lies. Central London has not been affected at all by any of this, it is only the outskirts in isloated areas of certain neighbourhoods. LA and I imagine every city in the US is more dangerous than London even when it has the riots, let alone without them. And I am speaking as an American living in London.

  34. 34

Re: amc123 – You're more likely to be mugged in London than New York City. However, I feel much safer in London than Los Angeles… and all of Texas, for that matter.

  35. 35

'evacuated'? what bullshit is that? no one has been evacuated, no one is leaving the city. My aunt lives in West London and hasn't so much as sniffed smoke. My mate Jules didn't even realize there was a riot and she lives in Bexley! Apparently she hadn't switched on the news! London is a much bigger city than you seem to think.

  36. 36

Why are you gushing over her? She is nowhere near the riots and the people who are have no choice in the matter, she can leave when she wants…

  37. 37

Re: IciParis – It isn't a revolution because they're not fighting for anything.
