In case you weren't already aware, its really hard to break into the biz. Whether you are an inspiring actor, writer, producer, singer, director or butt-kisser, getting your foot in the door can be rather difficult. Some people get rather desperate with their attempts to get work and a story out of Beverly Hills today proves just this.
A young writer reportedly had his movie script blown to bits by police who were afraid the briefcase he was carry it in was dangerous. Apparently, he had been pestering a particular literary agent for awhile to read his stuff and today, took this a step forward to ensure his script would reach the right before. The guy arrived at the office and left behind a briefcase he said contained a computer. He left instructions with someone in the office on who to deliver it to, but instead, the bomb squad was called in to investigate.
Officials then proceeded to seal off one square block, evacuating dozens of people from the local businesses, and them blew up the suitcase, which thankfully did not contain any explosives. Police apprehended the man and detained him for questioning. No word yet if he has been charged or arrested.
If he still had his computer, this would make a great opening sequence! They say that you should write what you know!
