| Filed under: Silly!PolitikSad SadMichele Bachmann

Wow. We're sorry - but how can ANYONE watch this mess and honestly want these people leading the country?

Check out all of the HIGHlarious HIGHlights from Fox's Iowa Republican Debate last night, including Newt Gingrich flipping out at Chris Wallace for his "Mickey Mouse questions," and most importantly, the perfection that is Michele Bachmann discussing her lightbulb freedom act, being asked if she is a 'submissive wife,' and best of all, completely disappearing from the stage with no warning (above)!

Oh man. So much embarrassing right wing bullshit, so little time!

Keep the LOLz coming, guys!

perez, i dont like these people as much as you, and im a registered democrat, but this is a celeb gossip website. lets keep it that way -_-

  2. 2

I think these candidates would do a hell of a better job than Obama.
And Perez is obviously hateful towards Bachmann just because she's threatening his gay agenda.

  3. 3

Um….No I don't want them running this country…they are devisive and hurtful to this nation…sadly they believe their own mess.

  4. 4

For the record, if this is as much as people are going to watch of the republican debate and then base their decisions off of it, that is truly sad. I don't think they're qualified to even vote, if that's the case. Some of these clips are taken out of context because I watched the whole debate last night, not just a 4 minute video of someone's opinion of the "highlights."

    Ron Paul 2012

fortunately over 50% of American voters would rasther have any one of these candidates then the current disaster in the White House. how that embarassment got in there will be something historians will be pondering for years. we have now lived with the 'Greatest Generation' (WWII heroes) as well as the "Dumbest Generations' (obama voters). hopefully the 'dumbet generation' will right their wrong on redeem themselfves.

  7. 7

@Kenzieee i agree with you competely. look at everyone's beloved democrat and the "change" that has happened. goodbye enocomy. goodbye reirement fund.

  8. buck says – reply to this

Re: Kenzieee – You ar absolutely right…your average liberal will not watch any of the debates, they will simply watch Comedy Central or SNL and base their voting on that….way to go "Dumbest Generation".

  9. 9

"as President of the United States, would you still be submissive to your husband?" ….lol did he really just ask her that?

  10. 10

Um…where did you get that clip? She went to the bathroom during a commercial break and reappeared on stage within about 10 seconds of the show coming back on. Ms. Bachmann also explained that to her, being submissive means loving and supporting-not doing what she's told to do. Wow. You really are a yellow dog democrat. Did you even watch the clip? Also, as has been proven by our current president, a good speaker doesn't make a good leader. And the person below, suggesting that someone who has different beliefs than them shouldn't be allowed to vote? Yeah, I feel that way about democrats sometimes but this is a democracy. If you don't like it, move to another country, where no one has a voice.

  11. 11

Perez you really should stay away from politics. Your only concern is that a candidate believes in your gay agenda. Most every american is concerned about the unemployment, economy, and health care mess our current prez is causing. You are so fucking stuck on your gay bullshit you don't ever see the big picture.

  12. 12

There must be a back story to why he is asking that question, I found it kinda out of hand.

  13. Lyyli says – reply to this

Re: buck – That's exactly what Perez (and most the left) is hoping for. So misinformed…so unfortunate for this country.

  14. 14

this shouldn't be a blog to voice your political agenda. it seems perez is just as politically uninformed as the majority of america. if he took two seconds to find out what issues these candidates support, he'd realize that two of the GOP candidates are actually against the Federal Marriage Amendment AND the majority of them have far better economic plans than raising the debt ceiling

  15. 15

It says in the bible that we are supposed to be submissive to our husbands and they are supposed to treat us like queens….we all know how her husband feels about queens. Let's pray for them.

  16. 16

i only hope that your readers are smart enough to not take political advice from a gossip blogger

  17. 17

You are all for equal rights when they are in your favor Perez. Everyone has the RIGHT to their own beliefs. Stop being a hypocrite and stop reporting on politics when this is suppose to be a celebrity gossip site.

  18. 18

    Re: waterucraze – Agreed.

  19. 19

I have to agree with most of you. Perez, I'm a daily reader, but you really need to stay away from this type of thing. Just because people don't believe in what you believe (gay marriage), such as most republicans, doesn't mean you have to verbally bash them. Do you know how many people who are republicans and conservatives who read this and would be very offended? I'd keep to the celebrity gossip and stay away from the politics.

  20. 20

I'm glad you're laughing…because I'm crying about the direction this country is in! No jobs, soaring debt and Obamacare…ugh! Unfortuately there's no one, in either party, who is going to step up and fix it. We'll just continue to poke fun at each other as the country circles the drain!
PS Stick to what you're good at…gossip!

  21. 21

Perez you just made a lot of conservatives mad by calling the debate some right wing B.S you know people are sensitive when it comes to their political view. Saying that the whole bachmann question was asked b/c they were quoting her. She had said something about being submissive to her husband, I don't think she expressed herself correctly that day, which is often the case with her. She had a better answer during the debate, but I doubt she will win the nomination.

  22. 22

This debate is strictly pre-season football.
    Interesting but not determinative.
Rick Perry’s entry, and Palin’s, if she does so, make all of this moot.
One of the main problems is that not all the candidates got the same question, so we would only hear from one or two candidates on any given issue.
Most questions going to nutball Rand Paul is a setup for all theRepublicans to look foolish.
The 'moderators' also tended to ask each candidate a “zinger” question on his/her own weakness, putting the candidate on the defensive, without enabling the candidate to express positive plans for the Presidency.
    Romney, Bachmann, and (surprisingly) Gingrich helped themselves last night;
    Santorum was stronger than last time;
    Pawlenty and Paul hurt themselves.
    Cain and Huntsman…meh.
The country is on life support, on the edge of the abyss, and questions on "submission of a wife" are pretty stupid and unserious, just like MSLSD questions from the Libs.

  23. 23

    Obama is a horrible president.

  24. 24

If this is the best the GOP's got Obama's a shoe in.

  25. @v@ says – reply to this

Re: luvs2tango – Ron Paul completely ruled all of the post-debate polls, and almost doubled the numbers of the next closest debater.

  26. 26

    Re: @v@
Yes, I know @v@, but us Conservatives have learned over the past few decades, NEVER EVER trust a poll, even if it's from a "friendly" organization.
The Elites, including John Boehner, McConnell and our own GOP, want to give us another crappy, elite RINO like McCain. We're having an war right now with them.
They, the polls, told us Reagan would never get elected and his poll numbers were in the toilet.
We went with our gut then and we're going with it now on Palin or Perry.
We want new blood that will not continue this farce.
It's why we love Palin still. She'll fight for us. The Dems know this to be true.
We'll also take imperfect Perry in a hearbeat, with his over-spending and warts and all, 'cuz it's a drop in the bucket to O'Bummer.

  27. 27

I guess telling kids when they're young that ANYONE can be President really backfired on the US, huh?

  28. 28

    HIGHlarious. Censored by Mario again…

  29. 29

either of these people would do a better job than Obama has been doing for the past four years. You just post anything that is bad about Republicans, how about you start posting all the mistakes Obama and the Democrats have been making

  30. 30

You support equal rights, why don't you support everyone having their opinions then? WHy don't you open up your mind and listen to more than what Jon Stewart or the liberal media has to say? Not everyone who reads your blog is a DEMOCRAT.
What happens when America picks a Republican as their next president, huh? BULLSHIT, HUH?
Stick to the celeb gossip, Perez.

  31. 31

……Not one of these morons is electible…..

  32. 32

Well your going to find out why someone would want these people running this country because one of them will. I personally hope it will be Ron Paul, but Mitt Romney will be our next president and maybe Cain as our VP.

  33. 33

Those of you saying that Perez Hilton shouldn't post about politics should either put up a blog of your own or STFU. This is his website and his blog, so he can say whatever the f-hell he wants. As for the Republicans, the only one with better than a snowball's chance in hell at winning the Presidency is Ron Paul, and he has a lot to compensate for; his age being one of them. The GOP's giving the Dems this election, and maybe the one after, simply to kill the Tea Party's momentum and get everyone back to politics as usual.

Re: buck – Sooo true! Half of my friends get their "news" from Comedy Central.

    Re: rjc123

God Bless Obama!! And, protect him from sucker not wealthy Rethuglicans.

  37. 37

Sorry bitchs but it looks like the man-child that is Obama is a one term president. His rating is lower then Jimmy Carters was back in the day and that shit was in the cesspool. Consumer confidence hasn't been so low since the days of none other then Jimmy Carter. Real unemployment numbers you know not just the ones collecting a check but those who have just given up is around 17%. Small businesses are not borrowing from the banks as they do not plan to expand or upgrade their business. The list of shit that makes a president look bad keeps growing longer and longer with each passing month. Obama's promises made during the last election turned out to be nothing more then good wet dreams for his hardcore voting base. The Indepedents will not be so kind to Obama this time and they're vote is what makes or breaks the election.

  38. 38

Re: gregoryschmo – However, in response to your previous post, this site appears to be a good enough source for you to get your "news." Oh, the irony.

  39. 39

Its extremely amusing to me how the media purposely uses snippits of clips to put it OUT OF CONTEXT. *************And the question that was asked to Michele Bachmann about being submissive to her husband? EXTREMELY SEXIST AND INAPPROPRIATE.*********** She handled herself greatly last night because if i was in her place i wouldve torn him a new asshole for even letting that question come about. Try watching it yourself as oppose to using gossip media as an outlet for politics. Obama is a horrible president- and you cant debate that.

  40. 40

    Re: boston61
Boston61, why do you hate Americans and America?
    (Methaphor alert:)
When you're sitting in the last row of an airplane, it doesn't do much good to laugh at those sitting up front, as the plane plows into a building.
We told you that Obama couldn't fly the plane, but you made him the pilot, so he'd ‘take care of us worthless Conservatives’ up front, stealing from the poor and black/brown people.
So, was it worth your 37 milliseconds of schadenfreude, only to discover that the seat in the back row is flying into the building too?
Flying faster won't make it any better when you hit the building and you can't wreck just the Conservative half of the plane, when you do.
If you reelect this Wrecking Crew of a Disaster, just imagine how much worse he will make everything, when he doesn't have the next election to worry about.
Unless you’re a really, really Oprah rich bitch, you’re on the same plane slamming into the skyscraper.
You’re a walking disaster, just like O’Bummer and the entire Dem agenda.
You’re such a Marxist troll and a traitor to the Republic.
America gave you people a chance and this is what you did with Her!

Re: waterucraze – I sense a heavy dose of Hypocrisy in this statement. In an attempt to scold Mr.Hilton for voicing his political proclamations in your post, you completely devalue your own credibility by doing the same. Oh, and on that note, last time I checked, it IS completely acceptable for him to do so…that is, under the US Constitution. I find it quite entertaining to see that so many others, like yourself, are so concerned with his credibility yet you feel inclined to visit his site and leave comments. Relax, drink a beer, and watch a rerun of the Golden Girls, I assure you life isn't so bad :)

  42. 42

Re: luvs2tango – Well said, but this person will never admit it. They will keep using bush and saying obama came into a bad situation. Won't mention that he has made it worse….. that never comes up

  43. 43

I"m waiting for John Bolton to throw his hat into the ring. Bolton/West 2012!

But … I will definitely vote for whoever the R candidate is cause BO stinks!

But no one is going to nominate Bachman, so relax Mario.

  44. 44

I could have told you Obama wasn't going to do anything for this country since before day one. But unfortunately our young generation is swayed by anything. I just hope the next generation is a lot smarter…

  45. 45

Left wing; right wing… they are all wing-dings! Non one running for anything has the fortitude to run this nation. We need a "Give em Hell Harry" or a Teddy Roosevelt who'll have the can-oles to tell congress to stick it if they don't like it!

  46. 46

Ok I just have to say that I am sick and tired of people blaming Obama for the debt that America is in right now. If George Bush hadn't been so blood thirsty and gotten us into a war we would not have this debt right now. The president is siimply trying to clean up Bush's mess…what he has been trying to do for the past 3.5 years. Stop blaming him for a former administration's mistakes. I am not saying he is perfect, he has made decisions that I don't agree with but he is doing the best that he knows how. And I feel a million times safer with him as president then I did when George Bush was the president. And also remember to have a little respect. He is YOUR president whether you like it or not.

And on another note….I would hate to see Michelle Bachmann as the first female president. What an embarassment.

who the hell smokes mushrooms? —just saying!

  48. 48

Ya, Mr. Obama won't be getting my independent vote this time around. I haven't picked who I will vote for yet but Romney seems stable and looks like a leader. I like Ron Paul although I fear his age could effect his chance.

  49. 49

Re: paige09Re: paige09 – At what point do the Liberals stop blaming Bush? was Bush a bad President? Yes! But Obama is just as bad if not WORSE. Obama has spent trillions apon trillions of dollars in the last three years and doubled our debt. I get that he had a mess to clean up. But Obama's all change and hope bullshit was just that Bullshit! The only change I've seen is a worse economy a crashing stock market and poverty. I understand it takes time to fix what is broken. But it's been three years and it is only worse. So don't blame Bush because at some point Mr President needs to take some responsibility

  50. @v@ says – reply to this

Re: luvs2tango – Bingo. When Ron Paul racked those numbers on Fox, the poll quickly disappeared, and the other networks freeze him out and act like he doesn't exist. If the black boxes aren't rigged, he could surprise everyone; but those boxes are known for taking a vote for one party and flipping it the other.

  51. 51

America's biggest problem is not Obama but stupidity. Honestly, do you guys even know how the state debt came to exist?! Obama is only to blame, if he single-handedly caused the financial crisis, which was building up waaay before his administration. And apart from that, get a clue about what communism means! Seriously, to be against something you really have to know what it is, and your comments really show, that you have no clue at all. There is a great difference between a welfare state and communism. I just can't with you!

  53. 53

    they were forced into submission
