    I guess it's a good thing, then, that most of Chevy Chase's projects, such as his late-night talk show, have failed long before his one-year limit.

    chase is a connected person who has the LUXURY to quit his over-paid jobs.. zzzzz, same old story, get out the pillow. p.s. he was never funny on SNL either..

    Re: gooby – Are you out of your fucking mind? Chevy Chase has been the funniest actor on SNL in the history of the show. He was also the funniest anchor of the Weekend Update segment. I advise you pull your head out of your ass or you'll continue to say stupid shit like that Chevy isn't funny.

    Chevy was mildly amusing on SNL. Gilda Radner on the other hand was hilarious.
