New Edition Star Sued Over Twitter Comments!

We wonder if he'll have a solid argument!
Johnny Gill was recently sued by a record producer who claimed that the New Edition star damaged her reputation by writing on Twitter that she leaked one of his songs onto the internet!
However, he's claiming that this is bull shiz, because people shouldn't be allowed to sue over the social networking site!
He claims:
"The courtrooms would be filled with a bunch of Twitter people complaining about things people say every day…It's freedom of speech."
That's true - but if she didn't do it and you published that she did, then that's libel, Sir!
We suppose we'll see how the courts feel!
What do U think?? Is he right?

Why are women such parasites? (Not all)
That is NOT Johnny Gill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
People get this wrong all the time. Freedom of speech is not nearly as expansive as people think it is. You don't have freedom of speech when you encroach on someone elses rights. Like slander or libel. No freedom of speech there, folks.
