Pawlenty Drops Out

Former Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty has decided to drop out of the Presidential race because of how poorly he did in the Iowa Straw Poll.

Like we said earlier, Michele Bachmann cam in first for those.

"We needed a boost from Ames that didn't happen," Pawlenty told staff on a conference call Sunday morning, CNN learned. Speaking to ABC's "This Week," Pawlenty said his campaign needed a lift in the straw poll.

"The pathway forward for me doesn't really exist and so we're going to end the campaign," he said.

If she beat us we'd drop out too, ha!

But it is good of him not to waste any more money if he truly believes there isn't a path forward for him, and we commend that.

Are U disappointed he dropped out??

He came in 3rd…wow that's bad!!

What disappoints me is the lack of effort voters are prepared to commit themselves to in order to make an informed choice. So few people are prepared to research the issues - they just want to make a decision based on the latest sound bite. They listen to demagogues instead of thinking for themselves. No matter what party you lean towards, don't be lazy - do your homework.

What had happened was…after Pawlenty's ceremonious reaming of Bachmann during the debate, Marcus threatened to release secret photos of Tim's prolapsed colon.

He didn't do bad. He came in 3rd out of about 10. So how is that bad?

He wasn't Jesus-y enough. Go Dumb Shits! The brain-dead Jesus freaks of the world will bring on the Apocalypse single-web-fingered-handedly. Let Rick Perry and Michele Bachmann pray us into oblivion.

You need to stay out of the political genre. You have no clue what you are talking about most of the time and you must realize your "fans" don't vote on their own, only based on what others talk about.

It is your responsiiblity, as a big influence in the world wide web and your followers (for whatever reason), to point them to sites where they can come to their own conclusion without bias, or else you need to STFU. Quit contributing to the dumbing down of America. You don't need to post about political stuff you know nothing about to make a buck. Jackass.

    I like Tim Pawlenty.

He's a good man for a different time.

    We're looking for "raw meat".
No more Harvard types with no legitimate business experience.
We need a common sense alpha male, that'll do "battle" for us, and stop compromising our country into hell.

"No more Harvard types with no legitimate business experience."
I was commenting here on Barry, not Tim Pawlenty.

When are you going to stop pushing your political opinion and remember this is CELEBRITY gossip. Go get a separate blog that rants and raves about how liberal you are. Stay neutral so all of your readers can enjoy.

Re: Pacific Ocean Gal – Thank you. Seriously perez keep it neutral and stop pushing your own opinion

This is much to do about NOTHING. Perez is just stirring up his pot of hate amongst people who shouldn't be hating in the first place. The bitch Perez needs educate himself about politics and how the gay agenda doesn't matter come election day.

It's all about the money my children. Trust me when I say moments after this was made public the cell phones were flying telling who to hook on to. It 's all about the MONEY.

I'm not quite sure why people are jumping on Perez for pushing his views…he really didn't say anything politically charged here, just that a Republican candidate dropped out. Sure he suggested that Bachman is a tool but that's not politics, that's just stating facts, haha.

As a Canadian, I'm sad to see him drop out. Not that I really want a Republican in office at all but I have a feeling that they are going to take it in 2012 with all the fear that's going on in the States right now. It's hardly Obama's fault, the system was broken long before he stepped in, but it seems he's going to be the fall guy and I'd rather see someone sane like Pawlenty as President than someone like Bachman. (and yes, I may not live in the states but what happens there usually has the most ripples on Canada)

Something is up. He quit way to fast and way to soon. Something was about to come out of his closet and he is running scared. Someone found out something. I don't really care one way or the other. It's just one more liar I don't have to listen to for the next few months. No matter what these politicians say or do when they are running it's all lies anyway. Nothing ever goes through after they are elected. Our troops are still overseas and Obama said he was going to bring them home starting in June. We the ppl are the stupid ones for believeing anything these ppl say.

Hey! he was the guy who talked like he was a little monster in an interview. I like him for a Republican, lol…. he said he likes Bad Romance and Born This Way. lol he actually said this!

Re: Pacific Ocean Gal – Yeah! Perez Hilton should NOT be allowed to have an opinion or have any free speech. Thank's teabaggers who post on the freaking liberal, gay site! Sometimes we bad Americans forget that only the far right wing has any rights in this country.

Re: kauio123 – "Neutral"? WTF? Maybe YOU should be neutered.

Re: buggadaboo – My first thought was that he was smart to get out early before spinning his wheels for months and months, and that he may have been advised that way by the party; but you just added another possible layer of interest that no one will ever know about anyway.
