If you doesn't, well, ya'll might as well pack up an go home. There's nothing worse than reviving a trilogy with a recasted lead.
Last week, we mentioned that Bridget Jones 3 was pretty much a done deal. The production company behind the first two movies were on board and the flick already has a director in negotiations. However, the studio is still waiting on word from it's star, Renee Zellweger, on whether or not she is prepared to gain 30 pounds again for her iconic role.
Nothing is set in stone yet, but according to sources, it seems likely that Renee will brush up on her English accent again. And why shouldn't she? After all, these movies put hero on the map. She owes the franchise at least one more movie to tie things up.
No word yet on Colin Firth or Hugh Grant, though we imagine the studio will only have trouble securing one of these two men. One guess who!
