The sad news that Russell Armstrong killed himself last night in his friend's home is truly being felt by all those a part of the Real Housewives franchise, especially those who knew him best.
“All of us at Bravo are deeply saddened by this tragic news. Our sympathy and thoughts are with the Armstrong family at this difficult time.”
Following suit, some of the Housewives themselves have reached out to the Armstrong family via Twitter, like Taylor's costar Camille Grammer, who posted:
"My sympathy and condolences go out to Taylor and Kennedy. My thoughts and prayers are with them."
As are ours.
Finally, Andy Cohen reached out to Taylor via his Twitter as well, saying:
"I am so very sad about today's news. My prayers and thoughts are with Taylor Armstrong and her family."
We can't even begin to imagine what Taylor and her daughter are going through. We just hope they surround themselves with the people they love in this difficult time.
UPDATE: Dana Wilkey, another of Taylor's Real Housewives cast mates, has offered her sympathies as well:
"My condolences go out to the Armstrong family, I am shocked and devastated, I am here for Taylor Armstrong and Kennedy Armstrong in any capacity that they need me and will do anything in my power to support them as they move through this difficult time."
