We'll believe it when we see it.
To be honest, we haven't heard much from Charlie Sheen in recent weeks. Even when it was announced his character would be killed off of Two and A Half Men, Charlie didn't make as big of a stink as he would've back in the day. So this begs the question:
Has Charlie Sheen mellowed out?
Someone who is saying yes is Sheen's brother, Emilio Estevez, who revealed to Access Hollywood that he felt that Charlie is a "different guy." He explained:
“He’s got his voice back. And I think he’s got his focus. He’s on a new show and he’s gonna be roasted by Comedy Central – which I think is going to be hysterical. I think that he’s really got it together and he’s very excited about the crew of the show he’s putting together.”
That's rather refreshing to hear - but how long will it last.
Will this different man still be around if Men takes off in the ratings without him? Will this new, improved Charlie still be the same if Ashton Kutcher gets raved reviews for replacing him?
So many factors could still send Charlie over the edge. We're not holding out too much hope that he'll stay this "different," but we'd love to be proven wrong.
