Mockingjays, this one is for you!

T-Bone Burnett not only has the good fortune to be working on the music for the highly anticipated flick The Hunger Games, but he also has the honor of collaborating with Danny Elfman on the score. From what T-Bone has said about the movie, it sounds like producers are doing everything right to ensure this lives up to fans expectations and the same goes for the cast.

For those of you who have read the book, you know what we mean by Rue's Lullaby and the part in the book where Katniss Everdeen sings the song following a tragic plot turn. Well, according to T-Bone, not only was the song recorded for the movie, but Jennifer Lawrence actually sings it!

When asked about the track, T-Bone said:

"Yeah, we did. And it was beautiful. She did great. She's singing great. Killer actor too … And it'll be coming out soon."

Soon? SOON?! How soon is soon? Like, before or after the Breaking Dawn soundtrack?

Oh! Wouldn't it be fun if they released on the same day so we could see which one does better? The first real showdown between Twi-Hards and Mockingjays! When fandoms collide!!!

Yeah, do that Lionsgate. We dare ya!

There is no contest. The Hunger Games Series is superior in every way. Suzanne
Collins can actually call herself a writer with a good conscience and Jennifer Lawrence is an Oscar nominated actress while Kristen Stewart is well…a talentless brat.
