A stellar achievement for a remarkable show.
On August 27th, the matinee show of Chicago will mark the musical's 6,138 show on the Great White Way. The performance will catapult the show over the record of the original production of A Chorus Line and make it the fourth longest-running show in Broadway history.
More over, the John Kander and Fred Ebb musical becomes the longest-running American Broadway show in history, with British imports Phantom, Cats and Les Mis ahead of it.
Bravo! Bravo! Bravo! Here's hoping for 6,138 more shows!
