We're just going to tell you how this ends. They lost.
BUT, they put up a good fight!
Sisters Carolyn and Abigail Mills were just minding their own bizness, selling their Girl Scout cookies outside on their driveway, when a neighbor complained of noise and traffic. The girls were ordered to stop because they violated zoning restrictions. But that didn't stop them. Oh no…they went to the city and applied for a business license like good little Girl Scouts. When they were refused a license though, they decided to sue the city.
Unfortunately, last Friday, the lawsuit was dismissed by the court, which means the girls won't be able to sell their cookies from their home, DENYING THE WORLD OF THOSE DELICIOUS THIN MINTS, SAMOAS, DO-SI-DOS, and so on…
Well, we guess it's a good thing, especially if they really were bothering the neighborhood. But, honestly, who could say no to Girl Scout cookies?!?
