Jerry Lewis Will NOT Return As Host Of Muscular Dystrophy Telethon

Whomp, whomp.
Despite reports that said Jerry Lewis was back as host of his legendary Muscular Dystrophy Association telethon, airing September 4, it turns out, he won't be back.
Jerry's spokeswoman Candi Cazau said:
Him being reinstated as the host of the MDA telethon is not accurate.
Bummer!! Jerry's been hosting the telethon since 1966. What will a telethon be without Jerry slurring his words and being extremely awkward??
LOLz! No, but seriously, there is one thing that Jerry is great at and that's raising millions of dollars for Muscular Dystrophy. He has pretty big shoes to fill.

Re: Gilbert Bumpucker – next we'll be reading here that men landed on the moon
This will give him time to call his daughter who he had out of wedlock, who looks exactly like him, but who he continues to ignore through no fault of her own. He cares for all these kids, but not his own? Sad.
You stupid, stupid, stupid slug….until you do what he did for a single charity, it would be best if you didn't make jokes about ledgends…
You who have no idea what philanthropy is all about needs to just stfu about certain things. Idiot. Do you EVER think before you write. You are so NOT funny.
Apparently, it was the MDA that decided not to have him back for the telethon after all, and there are lots of people out there who are very pissed about it. I believe the Laugh Factory has a petition going to try and convince the MDA to let him come back for one last show.
