Lil Wayne To Release New Album Digitally After VMAs!
Looks like GaGa fans aren't the ONLY ones who should be excited for VMA day!!!
After all types of delays, we've JUST learned that Lil Wayne's Tha Carter IV will become available in digital format on midnight following the MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday!
Weezy fans who can't wait until Aug 29 for the physical release will be able to download the album on iTunes, Amazon.com, and other sites that sell digital music as well.
Here's what Lil Wayne had to say about his release plans for Tha Carter IV:
"I am extremely excited to be the first artist to utilize such an amazing idea. I hope that I can open the door for others."
Regardless of the format, we're sure that die hard Weezy fans are just glad that the new album will FINALLY be available in less than a week!
