Chord Overstreet Returns To Glee TV

At this point, we bet Ryan Murphy wouldn't even take him back if he begged. He's burned that bridge and now he has to live with the consequences.

Chord Overstreet has started pounding the pavement looking for work and he's found his first gig on a new network, a new show, with a new audience. He's landed a guest spot on the ABC show The Middle, playing young Brick's fourth-grade teacher. He's going to one of those crazy, "innovative" teachers who gets under the skin of Frankie and Mike.

Sounds … boring. Definitely far less exciting that singing a rousing verse of Empire State of Mind in the courtyard of McKinley High. These were the "projects" you wanted to pursue, Chord? Really? Bad call!

Good move by him. Glee is on the way out. Dud season 2. Epic fail movie release. How much did it make again Mario?

Why do you keep kissing Ryan Murphy's butt? Ryan wanted to bump Chord from being a regular to recurring status. So Chord so no thanks, and moved on-a wise move I say. Glee was bad last year. I think it was a stupid move on Ryan's part. You end the season revealing that he and Mercedes are involved-then you decided to bump him to recurring?

Why is it a bad call gayboy? Cuz he is not on a gay ass show anymore? Good for him, this probably saved his career. Watch all those glee homo's get type casted and never work again. Hopefully that happens to leah michelle. And Ryan Murphy is sack of shit, quit sucking his cock.

on the contrary, the middle is actually funny. glee is fabricated nonsense and not even slightly like any school in America. What a rubbish show and Ryan murphy is another loser with an ego …sound like anyone you know, Sperez?

dude leave him alone. you have no reason to be hating on him as badly as you are. he made a career move that was best for him, so lay off. you're being a bully.

It's a job most importantly. And Glee has jumped the shark already by sesaon 2 with so many celebrities that came on it became annoying. Glee will be off the air in a matter of time.

You really are two faced with this Glee shit. You couldn't get enough of this kid when he was on the show. Now after essentially being demoted, he's decided to move on and you think his career is fucked. I think it's smart that he's broadening his horizon. Can't play a high schooler in a glee club forever.

Pretty boys with mediocre-at-best acting abilities are a dime a dozen. Good luck.

Jesus, let him be. Clearly he, like an awful lot of people, is over Glee. Why not just accept that instead of mentioning it in every post?

The Middle is funny show its been on for a while now Chord had every right not to want Ryan Murphy hands out. Chord deserve to be a series regular not guest star Ryan Murphy is a little bitch who thinks he is this big TV genius and he is not Perez did you forget who Chord father is . Ryan Murphy is a jerk off who in high school was a little loser Ryan Murphy does not make or break someone career Chord has talent and he has been on other things beside glee. Perez you are the only one that is still on the glee train there is something wrong with you Perez you are in your 30 it is a little weird that you get overing hype over high school show. Glee is not that good season two was stunt casting over the top with celebrities it was boring and lame Ryan Murphy should take a page from Allan Ball if a show is great. You don't need stunt casting like Glee to surviver

"Chord Overstreet". That has to be one of the phoniest gay Hollywood fake names ever. Jesus. "Justin Timberlake" now moves into second place.

Re: Peter5150 – Too bad both of those are their real names……

Re: TruthSquad – Chord was never a regular. He was always a guest star and was simply going to remain as such for season 3. He quit because he wasn't being promoted, not because he was being demoted.

Chord was originally cast as Kurt's love interest but went for Agron instead. Bad move.

Criss came on as Kurt's boyfriend, became a huge star and a series regular. Chrod was left to guest, sing weak duets and Bieber covers….. liked him but it wasn't working.

Colfer and Criss carried the season on their backs. Agron/Overstreet was a pretty snooze.

Lesson to McGinty and Larsen… likability and looks are a lot, but not enough.

Re: booyaa123 – glee is fabricated nonsense and not like a real high school because it IS a TV SHOW

@SpecyGit - Chord was never cast as Kurt's boyfriend; Ryan said so in an interview when he cast Chord, he also said he hadn't even started casting the boyfriend but was planning to do so soon. The only person who ever said Chord was the boyfriend was Chord - and it looks like he's a lying liar who lies.

@TruthSquad, Chord was never a regular, so he wasn't being demoted. He acted like a prima donna & quit when he didn't get promoted with Harry & Darren, which just shows what a bad attitude he has. Glee could have made him a star, but its clear he couldn't hack it & now he's been replaced by TGP winners.

Re: TheTruthHurts22 – Thanks. Don't like being wrong, but appreciate knowing the truth about it. Seems I have had the wrong idea for a year.

Re: TruthSquad – Dude he was recurring and truthfully he was supposed to be like Charice and only have a few episodes and ryan didnt know he was leaving when he made the ending to the season
