Billy Wilder's Commemorative Stamp

Renowned director Billy Wilder (who died in 2002 at 95!) is going to be honored by the Postal Service (the mail men, not the band) on a stamp.

He is part of a series of “Great Film Director” stamps. Other directors in the series are John Huston, John Ford and Frank Capra.

Wilder is known for movies such as 1945’s The Lost Weekend, 1950’s Sunset Boulevard and 1960’s The Apartment.

The actual stamp though features a scene from the movie he’s best known for: Some Like It Hot, the Oscar-winning 1959 film, starring Marilyn Monroe, Tony Curtis and Jack Lemmon.

Who would U put on a stamp?
