Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Premiere Date To Go On As Planned

| Filed under: TV NewsReal HousewivesReality TV

Hmm, interesting.

Despite reports that Bravo was going to delay the September 5th premiere date of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Season 2 so that they can edit out footage of the deceased Russell Armstrong, it looks like the original premiere date is back on.

In fact, Taylor Armstrong has been telling her friends that it isn't even Bravo's fault that Russell committed suicide. Friends say:

"Russell's suicide wasn't caused by the show or Bravo. Russell just simply cracked over ongoing legal and financial issues. The show bears no responsibility for his death, neither does the network. In fact, Bravo has been extremely supportive of Taylor during this tragedy."

As for whether or not Bravo will completely edit out all of Russell's footage, a source confirms:

"It looks like the show will indeed premiere on September 5. Editing is still being done on the show. Russell is either going to be edited down, or completely out of the show. However, Bravo and the show won't be ignoring the Russell's suicide. They simply can't, to do so, would be disrespectful to the situation and what Taylor is going through. It will be addressed in a manner that is dignified and appropriate

Meanwhile, Russell's mother recently said on a talk show that Bravo "better not air one frame of my son — or else!"

Tricky, tricky situation. By the looks of it, it seems that Bravo has it all under control and will (hopefully) be respectful toward Russell and his family.

they should of left it all in tact. He signed a contract and it was his decision to end his life.

Sounds like Russell and his partner had concerns in common — and neither had the backbone to face whatever's coming out like a man and, in Russell's case, a father — so they took the cowards' way out.

From his woman-beating/abusing history and his inability to put his kids first, it doesn't sound like Russell grew up with good role models for parenting and partnering.

Thru out this whole thing, it's sound like Russell's *bereaved* mom is trying to create a payday. Maybe she'll find a lawyer to explain to her that if Bravo has the proper releases (and you can bet they did before they started spending money on shooting this season and that, since he offed himself, those releases have been re-re-reviewed), Bravo owns the tape and can do what it wants with any and every frame.

I wonder how much money Bravo spent to have Taylor publicly clear them of wrongdoing.

    Taylor is a fame whore…..
You would think that she would be the one to tell BRAVO not to air the show out of respect for her dead husband….

Russell signed a contract. Bravo has every right to air it as is. Mommy has no legal rights to sue. Period. End of story.
