Taylor Armstrong May Talk To Barbara Walters About Russell's Suicide

| Filed under: TV NewsBarbara WaltersReal Housewives

Andy Cohen who?

We kid, we kid. We're sure Bravo doesn't care that one of their Housewives is considering taking her story to a different network. As long as she's getting past her grieving, that's all that matters to them.

Sources are reporting that Taylor Armstrong is finally starting to consider taking interviews to talk about the suicide of her husband, Russell Armstrong. We're told she's gotten many offers, but the one she is considering the most seriously is the one made by Barbara Walters. An insider explains:

”Taylor would likely feel the most comfortable with Barbara Walters. Taylor expects to be asked the tough questions, and will answer them."

That's very brave of her. No one would hold it against her if she never did an interview at all.

Still, she won't answer those hard questions for awhile. Don't expect to see this interview come to be for at least a "month or so." Though Taylor is finally starting to feel like she can move past the tragedy in a way, the source insists she still "needs a bit more time before she is ready to talk about the suicide.”

Take all the time you need, girl. Heal.

I listened to the 911 call yesterday and feel so bad for her and the gentlemen on the phone.

  2. 2

Her fame-whoring and wreckless money spending "probably" lead her husband's death.
She needs to quit the stupid TV show and take care of her daughter.
Has the stupid tv show been worth it?

btw; her injected-lips looks ridiculous. i guess she thinks she looks hot.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems like this story is lasting a LOT longer than it should. I heard the 911 call and it made me cry. But…it seems like the media is more invested than the public is. :(

  4. 4

Augh! Why? More attention for Taylor and more sadness for her daughter.

  5. 5

    Her name is Shana Hughes.

  6. 6

    this stupid snatch.
obviously she's doing nothing more than using this whole situation for her own gain. it's disgusting.

Read an excerpt of the 911 call, the little girl was in the room too and all momma Taylor could do is wail about needing her psychiatrist — someone had to ask her to take the little girl out of the room.

Barbara WALTERS used to have class and only interviewed people who matter. She's sunk to a very low low on this one. I don't give one flying "F" what this woman has to say. Never will. She's not worthy.

If it can help women to NOT stay with abusive men, I am all for it…Otherwise, who wants to hear about yet another man who was hiding things and had secrets…that ultimately drove him to take his own life…come on people, make good choices and live life truthfully…

TO: I don't Believe you: The only person who you can blame for his death is HIM/Russel…get some education on the subject please…he was living a lie and had secrets…not to mention was an abusive pig….So, yes it is sad and tragic….However, he was a selfish coward and that is why he did what he did…don't blame the wife for that…that is ALLLLLLLLL HIM!!!

This trailer park gold digger is just a self-promoter and not the least bit interested in family or her daughter.

Both of them were seriouslyy messed up. This guy was violent, had bad business dealings & she spent themselves out of house & home. She should have been getting help for her husband. A reality TV show was the last thing she should have done.

  13. 13

Enough with this story! These people have absolutely no importance to the world at all and it's taking up way more news coverage than it should be as opposed to REAL news that could be used in all that space. Just leave it alone already.

  14. 14

Barbara Walters is really sinking to the bottom if this is true. Taylor must be ecstatic. She is going to milk this for all it's worth.

  15. 15

Shana is gross…please stop covering this story. Shana you have a little girl, think of her before your trout face goes on TV and speaks about her father. Poor kennedy will despise you for all of this one day.

She could, but more grieving time would give her superior persepective for that kind of an interview. Don't recommend doing that too soon for a lot of reasons.

  17. 17

Oh come on. She needs to stop going to the press. Media whore.

Re: sanfran1 – I take it you were a close friend or relative of Russell's and knew him personally. This would place you in a position to deduce that he deserved to die. His three children don't need him. His family doesn't mourn him. If he were alive today, I'm sure he'd encourage others to commit suicide. Following your logic, anyone who commits suicide deserves to die because they are a coward. This includes bullied and or closeted teens (and adults). This includes the terminally ill who are suffering horrible pain. This includes gays or transgenders who are living a lie. This includes the mentally ill who have lost their way. This includes battered children who become adults who batter. Should the mentally ill receive help or counseling? No, they should off themselves. Should a woman or man who batters receive help, counseling and lessons in anger management? No, give them an automatic death sentence. Should teens who lack coping skills call a suicide hot line? No, hot lines should be eliminated. After all, whoever dials them is a coward. Eliminate the professions of psychiatry and psychology. Close all mental health facilities. Bully and torture those who live a lie, regardless of their age. Perchance are you promoting Scientology, sanfran1? Sounds like it.

I smell ego boosting and money…………….

  20. 20

Classy move, Taylor. What, no interview with Perez? After all of the sympathy and updates on your crisis every hour, I think the least you could do is give Perez the first shot. How much are you being paid for your interview with Baba Wawa? Or is it the opportunity of getting your mug on network TV? It's a big step up from that crappy O V A R B cable. Well played.

  21. 21

I guess we know how season 2 ends..

  22. 22

If I was married to this bucked tooth harpy I would have killed myself. Bottom line this guy did us all a favor.. now we don't have to hear about the horrible conditions she had to endure.like being raped on a bed of glass while he held a gun to her head (Prostitution whore) while simultaneously seeing how much fun she is having enjoying his money. A marriage should only be between the couple and not the American public. If he did in fact abuse her seek help or get a divorce don't air your marital problems, keep it private and move on. Public pity does not lead to respect it leads to public scorn.

  23. 23

Re: sanfran1 – Following your line of logic then she has no one to blame for her alleged abuse because she decided to marry/stay with him.

She won't talk for a month or so? As in, the end of September when the Housewives comes back. Great timing. Not all fortuitous for the show. We get it. The guy killed himself. MOVE ON. It's really becoming a sick circus. Taylor was always a total drama queen and had to be carried out of the funeral and now is gonna line up her interview with the premiere. She needs to not comment about this at all if she's sincere about protecting her daughter.
