Nobody Had Permission To Smoke Tupac, If They Did

| Filed under: Music MinuteWacky, Tacky & True

Tupac Not Smoked By Mom

So, according to some sources, during a memorial for Tupac some of his ashes where rolled up and smoked.

Now we're hearing that it probably didn't happen, BUT if it did, nobody had permission:

Tupac's former rap group — released a video for VladTV.com in which they claim they rolled up Pac's ashes with weed and smoked him up at a family memorial event. The rappers claim Pac's mother was present at the time. But the family spokesperson tells us no one in the Shakur family EVER signed off on the Pac puff 'n pass … especially his mother, Afeni.

The family rep tells the Shakurs simply don't know if there's any truth to the claims made by the Outlawz — but if they DID smoke Tupac, they "would have had to sneak the remains past the family member in charge of keeping an eye on the ashes at the memorial."

The rep tells us … no one in the family would ever approve of the act.

We're glad to hear that nobody would ever approve of this. We feel like it's a little disrespectful, especially if Tupac didn't say that's what he wanted before he went.

What do U think? Offensive or an homage?

Why is that disrespectful? That seems like something he'd be into.. Sometimes friends honor friends and their relationship in different ways than a family member would. He chose them as friends, I highly doubt he would be offended by however it was that they chose to honor him.

Plus, he was DEAD. So he probably didn't give a fuck either way.

this is old news, I heard one of his friends say this about a year ago on TV while watching a show about him… and Tupac did say he wanted this done, that's why they did it. He says it in one of his songs.

Friends and family honor the deceased differently. If this is what they did to help them deal, and to keep him close to them, than that's their decision. Plus - it would just be cool.
But - Tupac's not dead anyways, so whatever they smoked in tribute to him wasn't his ashes anyways.
