Yep, it's Joe!
If anyone knows anything about Hollywood, it's that you can work on a film all you want, but if you don't get the financing, well…that's a problem!
And that's the struggle Joe was facing for a while, but then good news happened.
I was in Mexico City last week and my manager called me and said, 'The movie's financed!' I was, like, in tears. [It's about a ] young man who is finding himself. The storyline is still bare bones, but I will say he has a specific dream that he wants to accomplish, and it's the good and the bad he has to go through to get there. It's going to be an older-feeling kind of movie. It's a little bit of everything. One of my favorite movies is The Four Feathers, and that has everything. It has funny, romantic, passionate. I want to do something like that.
Good for you, Joe!
Now go brush up on your Stanislavsky! You don't want to become another singer to botch up their career transition.
