MORE Unoriginal Television! Romancing The Stone Coming To TV

Guess that Romancing the Stone remake isn't happening then…
We've just learned that NBC will be turning the 1984 Michael Douglas/Kathleen Turner classic into a TV series.
As a reminder, the film was about "a romance writer who sets off to Colombia to ransom her kidnapped sister, and soon finds herself in the middle of a dangerous adventure alongside a swashbuckling American bird exporter."
The show will be written by The Forgotten creator Mark Friedman, and A Night at the Museum director Shawn Levy MAY direct "subject to feature availability."
We gotta say, it's gonna be pret-ty difficult for us to get excited about this show. The film is great as it is.
Leave this one alone, NBC. Please.

Cool!
Sounds kind of lame, but ANYTHING is better than more unscripted or faux-reality shows.
That was a great movie, still remember seeing it.
Seldom watch TV so will probably not be watching this.
All this does is make me think of when Family Guy mocked on this lol
