I rarely bother with coupons. I usually throw them away like I do all junk mail. It's always $1.00 off….the most expensive brand of laudry soap, or 50 cents off…something I don't need or would ever use.

  2. 2

Do you notice that almost all the extreme couponer people are FAT, LITTLE OBESE PIGGIES!

all they do is buy shit food…nothing organic or healthy for them or their kids.

white trash buying shitty white trash food for the fat piggy obese bodies…gross!

Re: luvu2 – you must be rich…..stop bragging.

extreme couponing is like a sport for over weight people. it's also a problem! they have enough items to last them at least a year, yet they keep on shopping. In my opinion, an extreme couponer turns into a horder, it's only a matter of time really

  5. 5

I would like to know what percentage of their loot gets wasted or goes bad before they use it. Do any of these maniacs donate to charity or do they just hoard it and stare at it like some kind of prize? I'm all for a good deal, but these people are sick in the head.

  6. 6

Re: AliasFan47 – Agreed. It seems a bit OCD to me. And like hoarders, they have way more than they could ever use - and probably won't use - so it is really a waste of money. If you want to save money, just get what you need and don't waste.

@kim k's ass: lmao I wish buuuut nope. working class. just find it cheaper to buy no name or do without.

  8. 8

I've also notices a lot of these people have huge ass houses..or are stay at homers that don't work. A lot of them are fat also. A few of them actually donate a lot of what they get. Make care packages for solders etc..but Most of them hoard it all. Kinda makes me sick.

I don't understand the need to buy 100 of something like this. I don't care if you spent $1000 on $10,000 worth of stuff, you just blew $1000 on a room full of crap you won't even use! I wish these crazy shows wouldn't fuel these nutjobs.

  10. 10

This is a form of gluttony and greed. . .not to mention just plain inconsiderate.

  11. 11

It's nice to get a good deal, however do you really NEED all of it? I saw an episode where a woman bought hundreds of boxes of pasta for practiclly nothing. She then dumped the boxes in her already crowded house. She would have to eat a box of pasta a day for years to use it all! I wish I could become an extreme couponer, keep a reasonable amount of stuff for my family, then DONATE the rest to a food bank! There are plenty of starving people right here in the U.S.A. that would really appreciate ONE box of pasta! In all the episodes I have seen, I only saw ONE person donate some of their haul! The rest are just GREEDY!!!

  12. 12

I like using coupons and I can say I have saved some $$, however nothing that is healthy has a coupon like fruits & veggies or organic stuff. All you get for coupons is junk food, toilet paper, deodorant and detergent and how much of that do you really need? I agree with all of you that say that they should donate a lot of this crap they hoard.

  13. 13

There's never any coupons for things I want besides laundry detergent.

  14. 14

this FAt greedy bitch has no use for this stuff and instead of being apologetic to the poor guy who just wanted 1 fucking power bar she needs to make some snarky comment as to "the early bird gets the worm". try saying that in nyc and watch u faced get punched in by both the customer and the store manager. ever heard of limit?? its just gonna get store d in her stock pile, let someone have it who has a use for it now!!! before it gets expired u fat pig!

  15. 15

I have a friend who is not an extreme couponer, but she drives from store to store following the bargains in the flyers. Gas is so expensive, though, so I wonder how much she really saves.

  16. 16

Some people are just trying to save some money, but some of them are ridiculous. When you buy 300 on sale toothrbushes, you're taking those deals from other people who may have counted on them. it changes the pricing for everyone else because it's an abuse of the rewards system corporations can offer.

  17. 17

and i love that these people clearly aren't looking for deals on clothing.

  18. mw says – reply to this

good god - get a life. why buy a bunch of shit you don't need just to get the "high" of a discount? just a different kind of addict..

  19. 19

That woman came across as rude, greedy, and disgusting. What is she going to do if her house is ever burned down or gets caught in a flood or other disaster? What a waste of time!

  20. 20

    I feel for the guy.

  21. 21

I understand the point is to save money…but what a sad life when taken to this kind of extreme.

  22. yeez says – reply to this

Re: auds – It kind of reminds me of when stores like Old Navy do the "buy 4 pairs of flip flops get 1 pair free!!!!" You really don't need 5 pairs of cheap flip flops, it's just a ruse to get you to shell out the money for more shit that you don't need and won't use/wear. People get so caught up in a "deal" that they can't even see that they're actually wasting money by buying in such excess.

  23. 23

I use coupons every now and then, if I happen to spot deals on things I need I'll do it but not to the extent of me hoarding all the products and not keeping some on the shelf for others. I'm sure that guy was only looking to get a few bars and I highly doubt that even eats them, she could've at least give him some. Not most people stay home for a living and go shopping every day like its a job.

  24. 24

LMFAO at all the people here dissing her..Most be all women..This woman knows how to save money..something more women are incapable of doing. Shes a keeper.

  25. 25

I am a former extreme couponer turned light couponer. For awhile couponing really helped me out, and put food on the table. It made it so I didn't have to go on food stamps. The food isn't very nutritious, and most meats you get on sale are pork products. I never would buy something I wouldn't use, and I would always donate things. Now I have more than enough money, and I don't have to hardcore coupon anymore.

  26. 26

I use coupons and this bitch makes me sick. No, you fat greedy pig, people aren't mad because they were coming to clear the shelves, they were coming to get one and you fucking took EVERYTHING.

  27. 27

Re: NookiesWA – Really? I can save money. I save thousands. I don't clear shelves and I don't inconvenience other people doing it. You can save money and not be a selfish greedy bitch.

  28. 28

This show is just as bizarre as the other TLC shows (Toddlers & Tiaras, Sister Wives, Kate Plus 8, 19 Children and Counting). I have a huge problem with the concept of extreme couponing. As several posters commented already why does someone need all that stuff and why do they keep buying it even when their homes are filled to the roof. I saw a show where the mum put all the toilet paper and paper towels in a girl's room and she had no room for her toys and stuff. Another woman had a shower full of stuff. That's one less shower the family got to use. Doesn't make sense at all. And out of all those shows did anyone think to donate half the stuff they got to the local foodbank? Yes it is wonderful you spent only $20 on $2000 worth of food, but did you really, truly need 100 boxes of enriched white pasta for your already overweight family? Just saying!

  29. 29

Ooh, I want to be an extreme couponer, but they have to be mostly organic stuff

  30. 30

Stupid fat bitch. You couldn't give the hot guy one of your bars???

  31. 31

My roommate and I are gonna be on this season!! Can't wait to see the other episodes, but in mine we MAKE IT RAINNNN COUPONSSSS AND DRAMA GOES DOWNNN AT THE REGISTER - I want a PerezHilton post of my preview when it comes out!! lol I'M IN LOVE WITH THIS SITE!

  32. 32

also, to all of you haters - i have 25 bottles of laundry detergent i got for $1 each - that will last me the next 7 years and I saved around $150. I also have shampoo and conditioners (brand names) that I paid less that a dollar a bottle for. Got 10 electric toothbrushes for a couple bucks each. I'm in college - I don't want to waste my money on this stuff for the years to come - I'd rather spend it on going out and saving up to pay back these loans when I'm done with school… also, I'm FARRR from fat or obese, Re: FearTheBeard – yes, a lot of them donate to charities (they even state it on the show all the time that they do - also, things like pastas and canned goods last YEARS. AND the money you save on things you can use coupons with you can use on fruits and veggies and produce - but glad there are haters, more coupons for us! Cause manufacturers only set aside a certain amount of product/coupons and if we all did it then there wouldn't be enough to go around…

What I don't understand is these people that buy 50 packs of diapers, 500 jars or baby food, and 20 bags od cat food when they don't have a baby or a cat and don't plan on donating the stuff. Why bother? I use coupons, but about 80% of the coupons I see are for stuff I don't use or don't want. Would these people have more money if they - I don't know - maybe used the time they spend hunting and sorting coupons to get a job and get paid for the job?

  34. KSC71 says – reply to this

Re: dsaare – I get saving money, but do you realize that the laundry detergent will not be good for 7 years? The stuff actually goes bad over time. Why not buy like 6 months to a years worth if you feel the need. Also, with new washing machines coming out yearly, you may have a washer in 2 years that cannot use the type of detergent you purchased - what will you do with all the stuff then?

  35. KSC71 says – reply to this

Re: JayHer – I agree about donating stuff, but a lot of the food banks say they get an over abundance of stuff that people buy mass quantities of with coupons, and people coming to them do not want that product so it ends up going to waste.

  36. 36

Re: KSC71 – understandable - i know detergent goes bad, ive given stuff to friends and such and im still in college i wont be having any new high end appliances anytime soon but this season the episode im on you might like a little more than these others when it airs, we don't go as extreme and buy diapers we won't use and i don't dedicate my entire life to it cause i am in school and have a job, but couponing for one only takes a few hours a week - like last week i got a swiffer wetjet for $5 and a swiffer sweepervac for $12 (originally $30-40) and refills for free, my roommate and i did more of extreme couponing for college students (but yes, i agree some of these people are crazy, but we can't do anything about it, they're gonna do what they want)

  37. 37

I coupon and guess what? THERE ARE ORGANIC COUPONS and there are COUPONS FOR FRUITS AND VEGETABLES… you all sound like a bunch of ignorant douche schnitzels. If you don't know much about a subject, you should STFU. BTW, I don't hoard and I've never cleared a shelf. My children aren't obese and neither am I. I don't agree with the show, and if you didn't REALIZE it yet, the shit they show is typically COMPLETELY unrealistic. Companies have been called to the carpet for allowing featured extreme couponers break policy… in real life that isn't the way it goes.

  38. 38

Is it really that hard to just take what you need?

  39. 39

I LOVE this show!! But when I saw this clip, I wanted to punch "the early bird" in the face! How rude! Even of she was smart and pre-ordered those power bars (meaning more would be available for the guy) there is NO excuse for her not offering him a couple! Maybe people who shop at the store she does should plan on being at the store early when the sale starts (as that's prolly when she goes) and clear the shelves out. When she comes down the aisle they should say, "SORRY! but the early bird gets the worm you greedy, shelf clearing, ignorant, rude & inconsiderate person!" muaaaahhhhhaahhhh!
