Charlie Sheen's Family Birthday Party Was Staged!
Ugh. Now we have to go and take back all the nice things we said the other day!
Although Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller celebrated the actor's 46th birthday over the weekend with their twins at an Italian chain restaurant in Encino, Charlie apparently tried to make it look as though his other ex-wife Denise Richards and his daughters were ALSO in attendance, even though they clearly weren't!
He wrote via Twitter in response to her birthday wishes:
"Love you and the girls..!!! Thanks for a great birthday dinner!! Great night! xo c RT @DENISE_RICHARDS Happy Birthday @charliesheen !!!!!!!!"
And a source close to the actor confirms:
"It's all fake. [They] didn't go last night. Even though his tweet says otherwise. He brought a pap photog to dinner with him to look like [he and Brooke] are good parents."
Well, regardless of whether he did it for the good press or not, we're just glad he spent time with SOME of his kids that wasn't all about the DRAMA.
It's still better than how he was acting this time last year!

as much as I loathe charlie sheen…. i have to say last year was all about making the media his bitch, and he did a great job of it. Your all dumb if you think that every single thing he did wasnt calculated…especially you perez, your in the business, you know better…or at least you should….
With his money is there a reason he can't go to the dentist or clean up? EWWWWW. Just disgusting.
THIS IS PR FOR HIS REPUTATION AND THE NEW TV SHOW. The network wants him to look like he is sane again and family oriented. Love him but He's not any of those things.
