It looks like a pink cupcake just threw up all over Kirstie Alley's kitchen.

But, like, in a cute way.

The actress is selling her pink doll house waterfront cottage located in Islesboro, Maine for a whopping $2,350,000. She originally purchased the 16-acre Cape Cod property for $1,150,000 back in April 2003. The home is described as "the beauty of new and the charm of yesteryear…. A family retreat that will give an otherwise hectic life some peace and tranquil" and was featured in a 1999 issue of Architectural Digest.

The home sits right on the water and includes 5 bedrooms, 3 fireplaces, and some seriously gorgeous views.

The house outside is absolutely lovely. The inside is…well, it's cuuuuute, but maybe not for everyone??

First you say it's located in Islesboro, Maine then in the next sentence you say '16 acre Cape Cod property'. Cape Cod is in Massachusetts. So what state is it located in? Get your bearings correct.

Very Shabby Chic. I kinda like it.

  3. 3

    Cape Cod isn't in Maine…

  4. 4

Once you get passed the cupcake style furniture the house looks great. The floors are beautiful but I would change some of the wall paper.

  5. 5

It's just a little too much. How can anyone sleep in a bedroom that busy?

  6. 6

Has the house been electronically swept and certified free of any surveillance devices?
    .
I mean, the Predatory Evil $pace Alien Hypnotic Mind Control Hollywood CULT of the seller is well known to do such things.

The house IS in Maine, which is NOT in any way related to Cape Cod. I love that this country seems to think it's border stops at Massachusetts. Get a map.

Cape Cod is also known for being a style of house.. not just a location, so Perez may be correct here. You know, like Ranches, Cottages, Bungalow etc. It look to be that style.

I have no words for how awful the decor is… I feel sick! Why would anybody do that to such a lovely house?? Simply disgusting. Ewww….

It's a beautiful cottage if you can get past the decorating. I'm just not down with it. Too many patterns going on and I hate wall paper~ especially on the ceiling!!!

Cape Cod is a style of house, but if that's the case here, it was phrased incorrectly. "Property" implies acres/location.

  12. 12

i actually kind of like it….it kind of reminds me of alice in wonderland.

Re: amandashooop – My sister's summer home is right next to her's. It is most definitley MAINE. Thank God that white trash is moving. Perez is a complete moron as per ususal.

OMG Laura Ashley threw up all over that house!

  15. 15

ps. yes the style of the house is a Cape Cod.

That interior is a sight to behold. Would never think to decorate like that, but I kind of like it. But, I wonder if it might get kind of nauseating after a while?

  17. 17

That is the ugliest (and most disturbing) thing I've ever seen!

  18. 18

Cape Cod is the style of the home! Jeeesh!
Holy Redecoration though, I can't stand pink! Just like Madonna and hydrangea's only not as rude!

  19. 19

Parker Stevenson must have decorated it !!!

"A family retreat that will give an otherwise hectic life some peace and tranquil"? I would say the exact opposite. I find this house noisy and creepy all at once.

I'm girly enough to love this! But it reminds me of the episode of Cheers when she tried to make the Poolroom into a Tea Shop! LOL

Pretty location. From the interior one would think it made of gingerbread.
