Michele Bachmann was kind of out-shined last night by Rick Perry and the disgusting applause that he got for having a staggering amount of executions (234) under his time as Texas Governor (though, perhaps people should take a closer look at his role in possible wrongful executions of innocent prisoners before they applaud that record).
Not to be completely forgotten, though, she's calling together a press conference tonight to rebut President Obama's speech.
Because, you know, why wouldn't she do that? A report reveals:
Presidential candidate Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Minn.) will give her own rebuttal to President Barack Obama's jobs speech Thursday night, a unilateral move that comes after the Republican Party said it would not be issuing a formal response.
Bachmann will hold a news conference at 8:30pm ET at the Capitol, her office said.
We just hope she's in fine form tonight. Like an olympic diver, effortlessly plunging into a deep pool of absurd and probably offensive things to say.
Will U be watching that … or football??
