This is so sad.
This is interesting!
The cast of Jersey Shore does NOT support cheating!
They've teamed up with Cheaterville.com as advertising partners to promote the newest social networking site designed to help people become aware of their cheating significant others.
Anyone can go on the site and submit a cheater's profile.
We were intrigued, so went to see for ourselves, and while the intention behind it seems genuine, it looks like it can easily be abused.
This website looks like it's half full of cheaters, half full of people others want revenge on.
But still, the site's creator, James McGibney, believes in its purpose, stating:
If we can get cast members of Jersey Shore to realize that cheating is wrong and voice their opinions against it, I know this world will become a better place and their fans are already echoing some Jersey Shores cast members viewpoints on cheating! We had over 6,500 new subscribers within one week directly because of the power of Jersey Shore, their viewers are extremely loyal. CheaterVille's ad on MTV has a click-through rate that outperforms MTV site average click-through rate by 233%.
Oh lawd! We can only imagine what impact this site will have on tear ducts.
