Bourne On Bourne! Matt Damon Opens Up About The Bourne Legacy

matt damon on new bourne flick

Way to be mature about this, Matt!

While in NYC promoting his new movie Contagion, Matt Damon was asked about the upcoming Bourne flick, which he will NOT be starring in.

Here's what he had to say about it:

"The one thing they said is that it wouldn't preclude me from doing another one, so I don't think he's [Renner] actually playing the Bourne character."

"All I care about is that I can go do another one at some point, and if we can do that then I'm good."

Don't worry, Matt! We've also heard that he won't be playing Jason Bourne, so it sounds like that role is still ALL YOURS if you want to revisit it in the future!

Maybe you and Jeremy Renner can join forces in the next one???

Why would he be anything but mature! He is a professional actor after all.

Those Bourne movies are so terrible. I couldn't sit through one of them. There is this little thing called a plot that they forgot.

He is not in it, so I will not be watching it.

NO Bourne without Matt. I would be something different if he was an old aged man…But Matt still got it…GO MATT…

There is no Bourne without Matt Damon. I think everyone is clear on that.
I like Renner, he's always good in whatever he does. Why not just let that be some great action movie in itself and call it something else sort of like a spin off. Then Matt can do a Bourne again and all will be well.
