Driver In Reese Witherspoon Accident Hasn't Driven Since!

That's probably a good thing!!

The 84-year-old woman who hit Reese Witherspoon with her car says she feels "awful" about what happened and hasn't driven since.

Although, guess what, she's not taking 100% blame for the situation. Um, excuse us??

The woman says that the intersection where the accident occurred is dangerous because there's a large tree that blocks the driver's sight.

She may have a point, however, not seeing a pedestrian jogging is kind of a big deal.

She's set to return to the DMV where she'll be required to retake her driving test and is due in court on October 7.

Oh man, lady. We wish you all the luck in passing that test because we have a strong feeling you shouldn't be on the road.

While an 87 year old probably does need to retake a test it is fully legit what she is saying. There is an intersection near me where I have to check like 4 times for joggers or cyclists because it is blocked by a tree and there is a large amount of overhanging branches so depending on how the person is dressed they can be almost invisible. It happens.

Maybe she shouldn't be, but it also happens to younger people, so…for everything there is a season.

I'd like to having a driving accident right between her butt cheeks!

Re: Samtra – The old bat is 84, not 87. If you lose attention to detail in only a paragraph, maybe it's best YOU don't drive at all either (trees, hanging branches and 'invisible' people and all).

I am sick of runners thinking they own the road.they are rude/inconsiderate..respect the drivers and maybe we won,t be crashing into you.duh the streets are for cars.go run on a track…….hate street runners.

I love Reese, but I feel sorry for the driver. A large tree at an interesection can be a pretty good factor. Also, so many joggers and walking pedestrians today are just tuned into their iPods and cross the street without so much as a glance around them. They need to keep in mind that while they may have a "go" light in their favor, it doesnt make them invulnerable.

Re: The Dude! – Have you ever driven in a city before? I'm not talking on some back country wide road? I'm talking driving in a city where bicyclists believe that they are above the road laws and runners have their ipods blaring so loud that they ignore all traffic. I have never hit anyone because I do look multiple times, however the intersection I am talking about has an average of 6 accidents in a car versus person crashes per year.

Accidents happens. The only reason why people are so jumpy over this is because it involved an old lady. I'm also loving how hostile, rude and disrespect perez is in this situation. You would think being a dirty dick loving homo where the majority of people hate his kind he would be more tolerant..Doesn't this hypocrite constantly preach for tolerance, etc? Riiiight. Its hard not to take someone serious that contradicts themselves every damn post. For instance, Most people of this generation should not be allowed to breed..but yet that happens. If a driver can pass their test once a year then all is good. It could of been Reese's fault. But the womans age completely turns everyone against her.

Did Reese not see the car either? Did she stop and look both ways before crossing the road, or like most people I see running with their ipods on, did she just run out into the intersection without looking? I agree that most runners and bikers think they own the road. I don't know how many times I've seen a biker cut me off, cross on a red light, and zip in and out of traffic. Runners aren't much better. I also agree that there are many intersections that are blocked by trees and bushes. I'm 32yrs old and often have trouble seeing around these obstacles, and have to inch out into the intersection looking 4 times both ways. Stop signs should not be allowed to be obstructed by anything, and EVERYONE who's on the road (runners, walkers, bikers, and drivers) should pay more attention.

Yeah, it's entire possible she legitly didn't see her because of overgrown trees and stuff. I have an intersection near my house like that…people run it all the time and everyone knows to be careful with it.

Trees happen, inconsiderate runners happen, senile drivers happen… all in all the only thing that seems to be known is that P Nice is a dick… Currying favor with Reese? Don't bother, she is out of your league

Stop being so fucking mean to the old lady. She's old and she was probably shaken to the core, and probably doesn't even WANT to drive. I fucking hate you perez. Sorry Reese. I'm a fan.

  13. 13

It looks like she has had some work done on that crazy large chin she used to have - it does not look as large and pointy as it used to.. where is that joker face we are used to seeing..

That wonderful new husband of her's gave her a beatdown and they want to pin it on the senior driver!
