Troubled man Jeff Choi is currently under psychiatric evaluation in Los Angeles after he allegedly threatened to shoot Ne-Yo in the head, following a series of other threats he's made against Sony Music Entertainment execs, including Clive Davis and CFO Kevin Kelleher.
Choi has made these alleged threats because he believes that Sony has been releasing songs about him, without getting his permission first. Pret-ty crazy!
Choi wants $800K in return for the safety of Ne-Yo and Sony execs…but instead, Sony contacted the FBI and the troubled man is currently in a mental healthy facility AND he's being prosecuted for his alleged threats.
Also, Sony filed a retraining order against the man, which should further ensure everybody's safety.
Let's hope everything goes well in court and this man is put away for a long time. Assuming he's 100% guilty of making these threats, he's clearly unstable and needs to be under strict supervision.
Stay safe, Ne-Yo and Sony!
