Freak Bill Macy! Lonely Island Emmy Awards Performance Right Here!

| Filed under: John StamosMusic MinuteSilly!AkonEmmys

This was most definitely of the HIGHlights from last night! LOLz!

Won't see this go down at the Oscars, that's for sure!

Maybe it's because the telecast was on FOX this year, but we have to say, The Emmys really delivered last night. Between Jane Lynch's opening skit to this incredible and some what random performance from Lonely Island and friends, not only was the show fun and youthful, but it brought something to the table awards shows have been lacking in recent years - entertainment!

But enough about that! Time to enjoy the music!

Check out the video (above) to see Lonely Island's a-mazing Emmy performance, with some help from Akon, Michael Bolton, John Stamos, Ed Helms and Maya Rudolph!

WHACK-EXCELLENT!

this was hardly a highlight.. seriously what were you on while watching the show?

  2. 2

I get the goal. But it wasn't funny.

Maybe I'm a prude but I thought it was entirely inappropriate. My friend was watching with her 9 year old and had to quickly send her out of the room so she wouldn't have to explain to her what a threesome was. Yes it was after 9 pm on the east coast but it was earlier in other areas. Just totally wrong for an award show.

Jane was terrible. Between all the obvious stereotypical gay jokes that she told ALL night, and here glee inspired presentation, it was shit. y'know, no one cares if she is gay, it seems the only reason there is a dust up on who is and is not gay is because gay people always push it. No one gives a fuck, and these stupid ass jokes just make it appear pathetic.

I thought it was the worst thing every! music was terrible and so was the dancing!
PEREZ you have NO sense of fashion or music or anything!

This was far from a highlight. It had no place being in an awards show that a lot of people were possibly watching with their children. I don't find them funny on SNL and I didn't find them funny lastnight, either.

I thought this was pretty funny! Maybe if you don't like this type of humour you thought it was stupid, but i enjoyed it. I also thought Jane was great! It was refreshing that she wan't trying to hard and her jokes weren't stale. Overall, I really like the awards!!

Hey you forgot to mention Andy Samberg, the mind behind it all!! Ts, ts Perez

Re: pdrocksmysocks – Oh, brother, your friend needs to think on her feet. Not too hard to say 'three buddies, three amigos, three friends,' and leave it at that.
Believe me, there's so much out there to explain daily that getting in a knot about it expends useless energy. Get creative.

If you're complaining about watching the Emmys with children, I'd like to point out that there aren't many (if any) kid shows represented on the Emmys…the shows nominated in the primetime Emmy awards show are generally targeted toward adults and most aren't appropriate for children to watch. If the shows nominated for the awards aren't appropriate for children, why should you expect the awards show itself to be appropriate for children?
