50 Cent Joins Alaskan Serial Killer Film

Who better to play a pimp in a serial killer film about Alaska's most famous serial killer, Robert Hansen, than Curtis Jackson??

For those of you skeptics out there, just wait until you hear who else is in it, and the plot:

The Anchorage Daily News reports (http://bit.ly/pLfb7T) Curtis Jackson, the performer's real name, has been cast for "Frozen Ground."

Academy Award-winning actor Nicolas Cage will star in the movie detailing the police investigation of Hansen, who preyed on prostitutes and strippers in the 1970s and early '80s in Anchorage. Hansen confessed to killing 17 women; some he let loose in the Alaska wilderness and hunted.

Cage will play an Alaska State Trooper who investigated the murders. John Cusack will play Hansen, and Vanessa Hudgens, of "High School Musical" fame, will play a victim who escaped.

Cusack, Cage, and Hudgens too? YES PLEASE!

It actually sounds really creepy. Especially because it's based on a true story.

Sound like something U wanna see??

So lemme get this straight. Doing hip hop, or rap, or whatever these African American overgrown kids do involves sucking dong on a mic?

And BTW, I'm a Grammy voter. Most of us who are actual trained musicians are clueless about this rap stuff.

I live in Alaska and I have to say it's been so exciting having movies film up here recently. Thanks to Alaska's new film tax incentive program we have had our own little slice of Hollywood! Drew Barrymore, John Krasinski, Kristen Bell, and Ted Danson were up here a while ago filming Everybody Loves Whales. It's been a nice boast to our economy and gives us something fun to talk about besides how cold our igloos are. ;)
