So, What Does CBS President Les Moonves Think Of The Two And A Half Men Premiere??

| Filed under: TV NewsAshton KutcherCharlie Sheen

He's pleased, of course!

CBS President Les Moonves was stopped while driving in the back of a limo (we're guessing) and was asked what he thought about the premiere episode of Two and a Half Men.

He replied?

"We're very pleased with the number. You don't declare victory after one week, but the number was pretty high. In New York City alone, it beat the Giants!"

In case you weren't aware, Men premiered with an insane 28 million viewers or so, yeah, Les definitely has something to smile about.

He was also asked if he watched Charlie Sheen's Roast on Comedy Central. His answer?

"I did not watch it, but I look forward to seeing it. I heard it's very funny."

LOL, yeah we didn't think so.

he looks like a very nice guy

other then that he is 100000 % right
so many people tuned in to see the first episode without chalie
if they didnt like it for the next episode the rating can 80 % drop

think of it as album sales
Lady gaga has the highest opening first week for the past few years [not anymore]
and the week after that she had the biggest drop from the first week ever which was 80 %…

at the states it is VERY common for the pilot of each season to actually be the seasons peak so…well see

Les said, " Is it safe to go home yet? The initial show did well? You guys aren't kidding me, are you? Have you talked to Julie? Are you sure it's OK to go home?"

I'd have to assume that they knew that a shit ton of people were going to watch the premier out of curiosity. How would they write Charlie's character out of the show and introduce Ashton. The real test is in seeing if the viewers stick and the show remains as popular as it used to be a month or two down the road. For the record I watched it but thought that Ashton's character on the show was kind of dopey and a kind of a wuss. I think that the shows going to miss Charlie.
