I've never seen a "Paranormal" movie, but I must ask…where is the artistic proliferation, that the only thing that seems the new "new" is a remake? Where is creativity in all of this??? No wonder reality TV has taken over.

It wasn't that scary while I was actually watching it. Then when I got home and went to bed that night, I kept thinking what might be standing over me, or what could be touching me while I sleep. That was creepy.

Scary scary movies. Every time it would switch to a night scene I'd think to myself "Why am I watching this why am I doing this to myself?" So good.

i swear i can hear something running in the hallway while im a sleep! That scene from the first one where it dragged the girl off to a room as stuck with me ever since. After watching the fist two I made a promise to myself not to see this one

Really? Another one? The first one sucked! I don't get it. Just like how the first Saw movie sucked and they kept popping those out.

It's acceptable to express your distaste in a movie, but don't shoot it down by calling it shitty. Point out the qualities you don't like in it in a civilized way. Yes, it's true that the movies really have no point or depth to them– it's literally something going bump in the night. However, to some people, that type of thing is just as scary as Freddy Kreuger. We all have different opinions of movies. Also, not everything has to have artistic depth, or at least I don't think so. To me, if you can make a movie that scares enough people to make money, by all means, do it and power to you. But again, those are my opinions. :)

I keep getting haunted by SPYWARE every time I visit this website. It's VERY scary. In fact, it's the only website where I get repeated warnings….Don't GO THERE! It is full of viscous swarms of bugs just waiting to destroy my computer! Bwahahahaha!

I'm sure that most folks would disagree with me, but i'm really not a fan of scary movies, and especially the new-age ones, like this. It's not that they're made wrong, or anything like that. It's that they don't scare me. And to be frank, i find them rather boring. There are only 2 movies like that that made me scared- 1) The Shining, and 2) The Omen (original). And the only reason that The Omen scared me was because I was young when I watched it, and because of all of the freaky stuff that happened on the set of the film (look it up sometime if you haven't heard the stories). The only movies in modern day time that really frighten me are suspense movies, like some of the ones on Lifetime (go ahead and get your giggles out now). But I think one of the reasons I prefer those to horror films is b/c they're somewhat realistic, whereas horror films usually aren't. Like, I know that i'm not gonna unlock my condo and find ghosts flying down the stairs. But yet, I may unlock my condo to find the neighbor's creepy ex hiding in my kitchen with a knife. It's just the realism of the situation. On the other hand, I kind of wish that i was more into scary movies b/c it seems that's all that everyone wants to watch nowadays. And like I said, I find it miserable to sit through a whole 120 minutes of them without getting bored. 120 minutes- Jesus Christ, now sitting through that is what you call the scary part!

pa 2 was really scary…im glad i wasnt watching it alone

the first one made me never to sleep with a foot sticking out of the bed… and couldn't bring myself to watch the 2nd with a baby… now the third one involves children, no way will I watch it…. I hide my face and get freaked out with with most scary movies. I know there is a lot of people out there that is not scared but bored watching these sorts of movies…. but, wouldn't that just piss you off that you don't get to experience the thrill, heart racing, covering the ears and eyes and jumping out of your skin moments…. I love it!

Also, I think Paranormal Activity is so scary because you can't see what is about to happen. You have no idea because the demon is invisible. I thought Insidious was ridiculous. But everyone I saw it with loved it. Everyone has a different opinion in horror films. Some people might light the ghosts to be seen with a bunch of scary make up on and stuff. I don't care for that. I like to be surprised. Not saying that I don't like slasher films. I'm a huge fan. Halloween, Scream, NOES, Friday the 13th, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, you name it… I've given it a chance. But stfu if you don't think it's scary. You're trying to make other people feel stupid but you're just an angry little person because you feel the need to be so negative on something that people speak so highly of. Get your head out of your ass. THESE MOVIES ARE SCARY! Even scarier if you go to the premiere at midnight. When everyone screams it makes you ten times more scared. lol
