Two & A Half Men Score Record Ratings Down Under

| Filed under: TV NewsAshton KutcherAustraliastic

Bet the dudes how pushed to fast track the episode are getting pretty nice muffin baskets right about now.

The world from Australia is that the premiere episode of Two And A Half Men did just as well down under as it did stateside. Now, it might not seem that way to you when we share with you the numbers, but you have to realize that range is a bit different in Oz.

Anyway, Ashton Kutcher's first episode of men was watched by nearly 3 million Aussies - 2.3 million average viewers in the metropolitan markets and over 667,000 in the regional areas, and clocked in as the highest-rated episode of the show in Australia since 2005.

Not bad! Not bad at all! Maybe Alan and Walden should take a trip to Sydney to thank them for the support. Could be a fun finale episode!

All us Aussies only watched it to see how bad it would be without Charlie.
It's a shame there isn't a "dislike" button on tv that you could press after shows,
Then they'd realize that no one enjoyed the new season premier of two and a half men, despite the "high ratings"
It was watched for pure Curiosity reasons only! I will never tune in to watch it again.
And I bet it'll be the biggest, qucikest ratings drop in the history of the universe.
Didn't laugh once, honestly. It wasn't because of Ashton either, he did the best he could with the script, but the script just sucked balls. Chuck was being a little Jew sook trying to insult Charlie sheen to the fullest, instead of writing an interesting plot and script!

I didn't care much for it,either, but I will give it another chance next week.I do miss Charlie, though. It's too bad things turned out the way they did. It WAS a great show. We'll see…..

I'm pretty sure almost everyone only watched to see how the show would be without Charlie…I expect the numbers will fall big time next week.

why is it always about Sydney? Brisbane is a much nicer place! and Ashton didnt do that badly with what he had. Yes Charlie is awesome but give Ashton a break. However i admit i watched it more for curiosity

l watched it out of curiosity , and the fact that Charlie sheen Rost was on straight after it , which was funny . l will not be watching the new two and a half men nothing against ashton its just not the same without Charlie. And wtf perez is wrong with the other states in australia like melbourne , brisbane, perth , tasmania adelaide etc
why not say alan and walden should take a trip to australia to thank them sydney isnt the only large city in fact l think melbourne is bigger
