This is incredibly well deserved!!!
The L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center will be hosting their 40th Anniversary Gala & Auction on Saturday Nov. 12, and they'll be honoring both Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka at the event!
"We’re honored to be a part of this important celebration for the Center, which offers so many important services to LGBT youth and LGBT-parented families like ours. The gala raises thousands of dollars to support services like meals and housing for homeless youth, a charter school for young people bullied and harassed in traditional schools, mentoring services and much more."
And here's what L.A. Gay & Lesbian Center CEO Lorri L. Jean had to say about it:
"As a couple, Neil and David are respected and loved by the LGBT community. They are role models to many, especially our youth, for how to live openly, with honesty and integrity. And with their support over the years for many LGBT services organizations, they exemplify the Center’s mission of empowering, healing, advocating and leading in the LGBT community."
Sounds like it will be a wonderful event, which will include a "chic cocktail reception and large silent auction featuring travel and dining packages and much more, followed by dinner and fabulous entertainment."
The gala takes place on Sat. Nov 12 at 6 p.m. at the Westin Bonaventure in downtown El Lay, and tickets can be purchased HERE! They run $300 for general admission and $400 for VIP tickets!
