Rick Perry's Co-Chair Says Natural Disasters Are God's Punishment For Loving One Another Accepting The LGBT Community!

| Filed under: Gay Gay GayPolitikSad Sad

LOL!

These people have really lost their marbles, haven't they!?!

The person you see in the video above is Pam Olsen, the newly-named co-chair of Rick Perry's Florida Presidency 5 campaign.

And here she is, saying that all the fires, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc. are God's way of punishing us for being tolerant and wanting equality for everyone in a country that preaches freedom of religion and separation of church and state.

Usually, this kind of thing upsets us. But we find this one to be just plain silly! The level of audacity astounds us to the point of laughter.

Anyone who would truly believe in such malevolence and STILL follow the hate, well, that says all that needs to be said about those people.

We prefer the Christ-like Christians!

This country is such a fucking mess. We're being propelled back to the dark ages. We have much more pressing issues that the Gay agenda. Seriously. We're about to have the worst recession is 100 years and one of the only things on the radar is what side of the Gay issue people are on. The Gay community, without realizing it, is giving these complete idiots a platform to vocalize hate and ignorance. And as long as they're given a platform they have the ability to recruit more and more idiots like them. Stop polarizing the issue, Mario. Stop contributing so relentlessly to the issue. You and other outlets, if they do this, will find that these ignorant folks will have to find something else to hate. Since you've decided to inject politics into your blog, start talking about the real issues. Start talking about education. Start talking about the economy or the wars in the middle east. Chaz Bono and the rest of this shit is nothing but a fucking distraction that the people that are bending everyone over and screwing are loving every minute of the distraction because that means nobody is paying attention to how badly they're about to get fucked in the near future.

I agree with you 100% this gay agenda thing has gotten completely out of control…these, politicians seem to be using it to appeal to the simple minded majority..I hardly hear them talking about how they plan to fix other more pressing issues like the economy .Re: adg100

Wait a sec… did I miss something? Natural disasters are God's punishment?! Isn't Dick Perry like the 47th Governor of Texas.. a state that is experiencing such widespread fires that they are considered the most catastrophic wildfire in Texas history and which Dick had to declare a State of Disaster starting on December 21, 2010. Oh and then there is that "little water" problem the state is experiencing. You know the one that the US Department of Agriculture had to declare the entire state of Texas a natural disaster.

So if we following Pam's logic.. then God is punishing the state for some reason.

Remember folks if you are lacking wetness blame a dick!!

This is so ignorant, bigoted and downright un-educated. WHEN WILL HUMANS EVOLVE?!?! God I am embarrassed to be the same species as this woman and anyone who has the same mentality.

  5. 5

For the enlightened and evolved we should all be very happy he put someone like this in a top position of his campaign. Disturbs and turns off the fence walkers and middle of the road folks. Even if it compels them to a "None of the above" vote, it's still a win for the people that have a clue. I am not thrilled with Obama but clearly another Bush clone would be catastrophic for this country. Support the choice of this bitch. Hell, make her his running mate.

Perez, for the first time ever, i'm going to praise you. Well done with the LOL. This is how you deal with stone aged minded people. You don't get furious and throw a hissy fit, or call names. You realize that these fuckers are idiots and their opinions are laughable. Well done, this douche doesn't even deserve our serious attention.

Re: ktwebb68 – You're right. Perry associating himself with people like this will sway the non-fanatics away. As much as some people dislike Obama, I'm sure they'll see that the alternative will put the country into an even worse mess. Most of the issues in America are not Obama's fault, yet he's blamed because he's the one in power. No one will miraculously solve all of America's issues, especially Perry.

  8. 8

Another lunatic. Why do you give these people press, Perez? Is it because these stories get the highest number of comments?

  9. 9

Thank you for letting people know about these ass clowns

  10. 10

AND THIS IS WHY THE STATE OF TEXAS SHOULD BE GIVEN BACK TO MEXICO…

NOTHING ONLY THAT BUT ACCORDING TO PAT ROBERTS, THE EARTHQUAKE IN HAITI WAS CAUSED BY GOD BECAUSE THE HAITIANS MADE A DEAL WITH THE DEVIL TO GET THE FRENCH OUT OF HAITI…….true story…just as true as a man 2000 years ago dies then comes back to life 3 days later..SERIOUSLY TRUE STORY….great sci-fi shit..

  11. 11

I think is funny that the only places where natural disasters keep happening are the south and central US! Why don't they just admit that God hates hicks and trailer trash!!!

  12. 12

The only thing shaking lady is the floor when you walk into a room. God doesn't hate, you do. Haters BE GONE! ;)

  13. 13

I think I just threw up in my mouth a little.

  14. 14

    BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH….Crazy

  15. 15

Ugh, this is disgusting. I'm actually glad Perez posted this, otherwise I probably would have never witnessed how backwards this woman's beliefs really are. I just hope people realize this is not representative of most Christians' beliefs. I know MY God is not a judging, fearsome entity casting death and destruction on those who support gay marriage.

I have SO much to say on this topic. But I'll summarize
    1. How would she feel if we went back to the thinking that men and women were not equal. Maybe God is punishing the world for letting women work and vote…
    2. She should be told that people like her are the reason young kids are committing suicide. Imagine being a child and being told you're the reason we are having natural disasters and people are dying.
    3. She is making female politicians look extremely stupid. (I'll admit, this is a combined effort with Palin and Bachmann).

  17. 17

Oh my gosh, I recognize this is your favorite political topic, but let it go for now. There are starving children, families who made decent money last year and are now homeless… I mean seriously, there are so many other more meaningful important issues and all you can think about is making the world fair for gays. You are so single minded.

  18. 18

Re: adg100 – He is not "polarizing" the issue…he is simpy reporting the news…these nutjobs exist and people should be aware of a potential (help us all) candidate for presidency and the people he surrounds himself with…how is that NOT important??? Gays have no "agenda"…why do people make it seem so evil and devious??? They simply want equal rights, no hate, no discrimination and NO bullying….Why is that so difficult to understand…??? it is so simple.

  19. 19

Would love to see the skeletons in her closet. Hers and everyone else who induces fear-mongering like this.

  20. 20

    Re: adg100

I'm getting sick and tired of the people who keep saying that there are more important issues to worry about than civil rights. The only reason this is still an issue is because of people like you who are standing in the way of my right to marry. If you want this to go away, just stop voting for inequality, and it will go away. Let's get to the real issues at hand and instead of standing in the way of someone's right to marry. You may not think my right to is important because it doesn't affect you, but don't tell me that my civil rights are not worth fighting for.

  21. 21

Just remember Joe, when you're standing at that altar saying your vows, that while the government focused on your right to get married, that a family was starving because job creation and the economy wasn't first on the list.

  22. 22

    Re: Colby7287

You've clearly misunderstood my post. The same sex marriage issue shouldn't be an issue at all. Why waste time fighting equality when we can work on this economy?
