Remember when some millionaire had a Tennessee lawyer send Vivid a proposal asking to buy the Kim Kardashian sex tape for $20 million?

Well! Unfortunately for Kim, Vivid has said no thanks!

The captain of porn mecca, Steve Hirsch, states:

We were offered $20 million for the Kim tape but have decided that we are going to hang on to it for now. Although the offer that we ultimately received was substantial, when I realized that it wasn’t Kim it became less appealing. Kim is a superstar and if it were to be sold, it should be to her.

Interesting Steve. Was that supposed to be noble of you? We're not sure.

Honestly, we don't know why Kim would buy it. As long as it's been out, everyone who wanted to see it probably already has. Even if the rights are sold, there are countless sticky DVDs still remaining.

If $20 million can't erase it from memory, we just don't think it's worth it! Besides, let's be real, it helped make her the star she is today!

I disagree with the terms "star" and "superstar" when refering to Kim Kardashian. She is famous for making a sex tape and selling it which doesn't begin to define a star to me. I do have to say that her Mom and she have done a phenomenal job making millions by hyping absolutely nothing. Possibly a gold star might be given for her marketing skills.
