Kelsey Grammar's new show, Boss, has already been renewed for a second season — even though the premiere for it won't be until October 21st!!

Here's a bit about it:

Boss stars the Frasier alum as Tom Kane, a cutthroat Chicago mayor who is protecting dark secret that, if revealed, could ultimately destroy his career.

This isn’t the first time the cabler has pulled the trigger on an early pickup: Starz ordered a second installment of its flagship series Spartacus: Blood and Sand before its 2010 debut.

And they were right on that one!
