Her hairline is receding. So sad that it just doesn't happen to the men.

LOL It's nice to see that not all members of the gay community feel the need to suck Glee's pathetic little dick. =D

It is apparent to me, as a former fan, that Ms. Etheridge is not quite the kindest or considerate human being on the planet. Reading about her vicious legal battle against her former wife followed by this and other comments, she seems to be a rather sour human being.

What goes around comes around, so I suppose she will get hers eventually.

Uh, oh…….. Someone's about to incur the wrath of the self-important, bitchy queen, Ryan Murphy! That aside, I'm glad that she has the courage to voice her opinion, despite how much backlash she's going to suffer from people who don't know any music outside of Top 40 fare from the year 2000 until the present. Glee's too shiny and perfectly-packaged for someone like Melissa.

Re: HoneyBadgerGirl – You mean THAT isn't a man?

Re: sohaveiforyou83 – thank you so much for your truly insightful and well written comment.

Wow, this must be a real dilemma for Mario. Who does he defend, his beloved Glee or a fellow gay. And according to history around here gays can never be wrong.

Re: HoneyBadgerGirl – Glee doesn't have a dick, it was surgically removed.

well, i was a Melissa fan many moons ago…in fact, the last concert I saw of hers was back in the 90's and I walked out…boring!! Then what she did to her spouse and kids is just horrific. She's definitely not the singer she used to be.

Re: sohaveiforyou83 – K, I'm 30 and I am well aware of music outside "of Top 40 fare from the year 2000 until the present". I'm also a huge Glee fan. I think it's actually opening up our youth to all types of music. They don't just preform top 40. Remember the Fleetwood Mac episode, how about all the Journey songs. Kiss, Aerosmith, Aretha Frankin, REO Speedwagon, The Doors and many other classic artists' songs have been included. I don't believe any of Melissa Etheridge's songs have been though. Hmmmm…maybe she's bitter…not just a bitch :) Team Tammy.

I know how she feels. Jethro Tull it's not. She'll have to put on her open mind cap for her kids. She might get something new or inspiring (but small) from the odd newbie concert. Lol

glee is what happens when you take music education out of public schools

  13. 13

Hope she paid her child support.

Re: B.4.I.Jump – EXACTLY. Preach! The band students at Warren Township HS in Gurnee, IL are way better musicians than any of the people on Glee. Music programs teach discipline and the understanding of high art music. Glee teaches audiences that any song of substance can be thrashed to pieces and reconstructed as if it was originally written by a group of cyborgs programmed to be peppy.

What a complete jerk. I don't watch Glee, but, she's just being pompous. Also, she left her family. Very sad.

  16. 16

pretty disrespectful considering more people love glee than her music

Re: Jackay00 – That's because they're spoon fed this slick professional network karaoke so it's all they know. Gar…Cover tune in, cover tune out. If I wanted cover songs done by ambitious broadway types, I'd watch it. It's probably fun for the kids, but it wouldn't challenge a professional musician. It would be like doing your abc's.
