| Filed under: Christina AguileraYouTubeX FactorReality TV

During Thursday night's episode of X Factor, a very nervous, yet EXTREMELY talented young woman named Jazzlyn Little blew us out of the water with her absolutely stunning rendition of Mary J. Blige's I'm Going Down!

She also mentioned prior to this that she had only uploaded ONE video of herself to YouTube, which didn't garner too many hits, so NATURALLY, we've gone and found it, and HOLY SHIZ!

In case you didn't already realize, THIS GIRL CAN SING!

Watch her absolutely OWNING Hurt by Christina Aguilera (above)!

And CLICK HERE to watch it on her YouTube page!

You go, gurl!

what the hell is X factor?

  3. 3

Wow. She was blowin! Beautiful voice.

  4. 4

This is ok but not great

i'm embarrassed for people when they try to sing a christina song, especially one like hurt.

  6. 6

shes good. really good. but im not quite sure she "owned" it.

  7. 7

    No. Didnt like it.

Her nervousness was so fake. She has won beauty pageants and sang all her life. She even already has a manager. I am sick of these shows showcasing people that already have or had record deals. Why can't they get real people?

Re: Cha_Cha_the famous – your crazy. she's amazing. stop being jealous.

Re: heyitsrobin – why would you be embarrassed. she did an amazing job with that song heck, she sang it better than christina aguilera.

Re: xoxo_anonymous – your pretty dumb. she definitely owned it. she has an amazing voice. really, you need to stop being jealous.

Re: bleahf – lyeah, well. no one likes your hideous face. lol

Re: elsie72377 – wtf? is your problem? she probably hasn't performed in front of millions of people yet, that was probably her first time performing on a big stage like the x factor. and that was a really big stage. that was probably her first time. on a big stage like that and on national tv at the same time. maybe, that's why she was nervous. it wasn't fake at all. you could sing all your life growing up and still be nervous when it's your first time getting on a big stage. beauty pageants are a totally different thing. so yeah. do us all a favor. and stop being jealous of her.

Re: heyitsrobin – It's so true. This song is one of the most difficult pop ballads I have heard in some time, so I give her credit for the attempt. She certainly did a better job than most of these singers would from these shows. Unfortunately, her pitch problems are a little too frequent to overlook, her phrasing is quite immature, and her vibrato and slight melodic improvisations aren't appropriate for the style of this song. It's very dangerous to record a cover of a Whitney Houston or Christina Aguilera song. Both of them are known for their rich belting, but they have more subtle, mature components of their singing that are quite impressive. A lot of singers can garner substantial praise for themselves by having well-supported belting voices. Unfortunately for them, it takes much more than that to perform a song like "Hurt" on a serious level. I'd take this girl over Katy Perry or Britney Spears any day, though.

I think she has a nice voice, but she definitely is pitchy. She has great potential, but not the skill just yet

  17. 17

This girl is very talented, but I wouldn't call her Xtina yet….

  18. 18

It's OK, but not great. At least she girl can sing for five seconds without growling or screaming like Xtina.

Re: sohaveiforyou83 – Christina has a terrible technique though and her pronounciation is even worse. She uses her tounge to sound 'powerful' which is such a terrible way.

Re: LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL – Really? I didn't realize that you were a professional singer. I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest with you, but I find it kind of funny that you are commenting on Christina's style, yet the woman has sold a hell of a lot of records. Just sayin.
