Twilight Zone Movie Progress! Warner Bros Seeking A Director

| Filed under: TV NewsFilm FlickersLeonardo DiCaprioPerezTV

Finally! It's been almost a year since we've heard anything about this movie!

Last October, we were excited to announced that a writer had been hired for an upcoming movie adaptation of The Twilight Zone (above), which is being developed by Warner Bros and Leonardo DiCaprio's Appian Way.

Now, WB is finally moving forward with the project, and they've begun the search for a director!

Thus far, the top candidates include Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuaron, and Michael Bay.

According to sources, The Dark Knight Rises director Nolan is likely to be offered the gig, but we're also hearing that Bay and co. are "high on the script" and very interested in the project as well.

As far as Children of Men director Cuaron is concerned, his schedule is reportedly the "most favorable," and he has a pre-existing relationship with WB, which could work out in his favor.

Our top choices would def be Nolan or Cuaron for this one! While Michael Bay is certainly capable of bringing in lots of $$$ with his big-budget projects, we're just not sure if the guy who directed Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen is the right choice for a movie like this, which MUST be handled with extreme care!

Who do U think should direct the new Twilight Zone movie? Do U think it will live up to the original classic TV series???
