Here's The Brilliant Occupy Wall Street Interview Fox News Didn't Show Us!

Fox News wasn't expecting to interview such an articulate and intelligent protestor were they?

Though the reporter tells this interviewee that Fox News is allowing him his chance to send a message with "fair coverage," the network never aired this brilliant piece of citizenship.

We're shocked.

Watch this footage The New York Observer found and see a real "Joe" speak for 'everyday people!'

    HA HA. LOVE THIS!!!!

and of course..never aired..probably said they didn't have the time. was kind of long for tv.

tv needs quick, concise soundbytes to air

    CC

    wow! brilliant
Why can't mainstream media promote the belief that there is intelligence amongst the masses? Why does 'Joe Blow' need to be portrayed as the mindless peanut that is usually the (aggressive) highlight of the 6pm news?

That man is very smart and gives a brilliant interview. Glad I got to see this. Thanks!

  4. 4

    …and dials up perezhilton…

  5. 5

What exactly do you think he said that was intelligent? It just shows your ignorance and stupidity that you are impressed by empty rhetoric, big words and meaningless statistics.

  6. 6

He was not THAT articulate and is CLEARLY pro Obama. This is a problem I thought may show up in the new 'Occupy Wall Street' extravaganza. I support ten fold a daily wacking of the banks in America across the country, but you people cannot, and I mean CANNOT disregard holding the President accountable for letting Wall STreet basically take over the white house! It has HAPPENED! Goldman Sachs and JP Morgan run the United States now. Period! If the bankers go down, Barack Obama is complicit in the criminality of their acts as BARACK is the President! Come on…..!

I was at the Occupy Los Angeles rally at City Hall the last two nights, very late and I talked to many of the people tenting over night….Im not so sure yet that these people have all the facts, and I have offered my help in getting the message out VIA INTERNET CAM about the truth about the Federal Reseve's ownership and exactly WHO owns the 12 major banks that own the FED.

If we want to engage the viewers and get them to join the protest and occupations nationwide, we need to throw the TRUTH at them and not some 'ohh i lost my job and the banks printed money last month' > thats not going to work, as JP MORGAN CHASE just gave the NYPD$4.5 million for their arrest efforts on the Brooklyn Bridge. We have to work smarter as these protests should have begun in 3 years ago in 2008 as the interviewee above stated.

  7. 7

As for the Occupy Los Angeles at city hall, I have to say I have great respect for the efforts downtown. The people there are very YOUNG and brave to keep this up, its just amazing that many others north of age 30 have not really gotten on the ball. The answer is that they are afraid of their government.

  8. 8

INFO FOR 'OCCUPY LOS ANGELES' : Anyone who can get down to city hall in downtown Los Angeles…. PLEASE I encourage you to bring supplies to the people who have set up camp there. They have first aid tent, food tent etc…. But any donations of food, bottled water, TARPS, tent like pieces, canopys, rope, and any other supplies are welcome and will be needed in the immediate future. Remember these people don't plan on leaving for a long time and this thing will grow exponentially. If you can't make it down there to stay overnight and you believe in the cause, it would be more than worth your while to chip in in some fashion. Very nice people at the base camp. GOOGLE : Occupy Los Angeles. Thanks.

So… instead of a conservative bigot they interviewed a liberal bigot. Big whoop. You probably wouldn't have even bothered with this if he didn't mention gay soldiers.

Re: caravaggio the terrible – wow. someone loves the sound of their own voice. i fell asleep one third thru your post…or should i say several posts…you talked so long it had to take up multiple posts….blowhard.

  11. 11

someone give him a tv show.

  12. 12

He IS articulate at a reachable level. People will identify with him and his thoughts. He just wants the conversation to continue and be diversified. He seems confident without being angry and defensive.

  13. 13

Re: Shark – Here Sherlock, maybe you can learn something or maybe even teach your mommy and daddy : Go To YOUTUBE > Type 'Occupy Wall Street Protestor on Federal Reserve'

  14. 14

    dude is right on

    15

THIS guy was telling it like it is-no BS!!! Of course Fox News would never air this because it wouldn't make them look good. Also, this guy was saying what alot of people believe already.

  16. 16

Love it!! Good thing someone else was filming this, I'm sure the FOX news guy turned his camera off when he realized this guy had a brain.

  17. 17

Re: caravaggio the terrible – ANY blame for the party that started this mess and then sits on their hands for the last two years and refuses to vote on anything that favors the middle and lower class families?? George Bush and his party began the destruction and then stepped away…..the arrogant majority then refused to even try to work w/ the president THAT is why this country is in the shape it is in now.

  18. 18

FIRST OFF, LETS JUST START OFF BY SAYING THIS GUY IS JUST SO CUTE AND SO ARTICULATE AND SO PASSIONATE…ALL THE THINGS A WOMAN SUCH AS MYSELF LIKES!

    way to go dude!

  19. 19

That whole clip seems very staged to me. Like someone trying to make it look like a news clip. I hope I'm wrong but I don't think I am.

  20. 20

    Amazing!

  21. 21

    Mario cut me off….

  22. 22

I'm crushing hard on this guy right now. Makes me want to go out and protest :)

  23. 23

Re: caravaggio the terrible – You do realize that part of the Occupy Wall Street debate is about censorship in media, which actually this man edged on. Fox does tend to be republican and then channels like ABC tend to be democratic. Really the argument goes both ways, but this is also the issue with Occupy Wall Street people are their for different reasons some about the banks and some about the media and some about political corruption, but honestly if you look at the history in all of this none of it is really surprising.

  24. 24

I just want to breathe a sigh of relief here…finally to see some average Americans out there protesting, instead of those rabid "teaparty-ers". Good to know that not ALL of you have either given up and letting the extreme right do all the talking! Good on ya! He did sound a little staged, maybe not, regardless he sounded calm and collected while getting his point across so I applaud him. So sick of the extremists screaming into the camera's trying to get their point across.

  25. 25

brilliant! let's give this guy a seat in congress! It's time for the tea baggers to go!

  26. 26

Re: caravaggio the terrible – Thank you Mario…

  27. 27

Solyndra a waste of time??? Give me a break! 1/2 billion dollars thrown down the drain because of Obama..There are millions of people on the right that are MIDDLE CLASS! We just work and don't whine about give me this. Give me that! America gives EVERY American the chance to move up… This country isn't even 300 years old, and these whiners can't see how far we have come in that short of a period of time..You all talk about how you like this, but would you be willing to give half your salary away to lazy asses? I don't think so….

  28. 28

Re: uofmfan – I completely agree with you. People are so ignorant, I did not hear one thing intelligent or even coherent out of the guy's mouth.

  29. 29

I don't think this guy is exceptional but rather your average protester for the welfare of the masses. They tend to be articulate because their cause makes sense. It just seems like he's Einstein compared to the rabid illiterate tea baggers.

  30. 30

This is the only country in the whole world where someone can come from nothing and becoming something for themselves, this is why immigrants from all over the world want to come here and try to become something better. These damn hippies protesting are lazy idiots that need to get up and get a job! Give me a break, the people on Wall Street DESERVE to have all that money, cause they got their asses off the couch and went for it and did something with their life!!! Don't be effing ridiculous NOBODY should have ANYTHING handed to them if they're not willing to get their ass up and get it!!!! It takes hard work but anyone can become something!! Stop the effing whining!!!!!

  31. 31

Ahh the media, thats controlled by the 1%..Interviews of smart people never show up, instead they are either ignoring it or focusing on the dumb asses that just make the protesters look bad. KEEP IT UP GUYS..Finally a protest that I actually support :S

  32. 32

Saw this over the weekend! It is truly brilliant and should show these conservatives that they are stupid for blindly following a party that doesn't give a rat turd about them and is using their votes to empower more and more of the wealthy in this country by widening the gap between the wealthy and the middle class.

    33

    PREACH!!!

Who is this dude and why is he not on tv every night?

  34. 34

I LOVE THIS GUY!!! and the other guy on MSNBC Zombie protester who said he works 40hrs a wk just to stuggle. These protest are better late than never i say. i just hope more people like this guy hit the media and tell it like it is. Aplause Aplause Aplause!

  35. 35

    Re: Dulcechic2020 – I love you!

Recipe: Take large amounts of people who are angry that they are in debt and who think the corporate world is to blame for the current economic climate. Light a fire under them using a Canadian anti-consumerist activist group (Adbusters), stir until boiling, and Voila! You have Occupy Wall Street! The Occupy site says to formulate your own demands…so I personally would love to have my student debt forgiven and I'd also love for a million dollars to fall out of the sky, and to be handed a job straight out of school…can you do that for me Wall Street…because I'm going to stand here until you do, scared now huh!? Where's the group solidarity in terms of my personal demands being met and why wouldn't they (the protesters) be in DC protesting before the White House (you know, where the people who allowed unregulated bail-outs and corporate take-over to happen are)? Also, where is a definitive statement from several people, let alone one person, explaining (with actual research) how certain desired changes (rational list of demands?) would benefit the general population in the long-run? I'm not a fascist and I'm not against protesting or questioning the why's and how's of the world/government/finance etc, but I'm also not going to stand in the middle of the street, with a half-baked idea, fueled by self righteousness and call it a revolution.

  36. 36

Re: WildOrchid1298 – That is probably the most foolish statement I have heard thus far. 'A Debate About Censorship?' Honey, how exactly DO you use the internet? You actually think that the point about corporate media ACTUALLY needs to be debated in terms of censorship? Well DUH! Try alternative media and research and it will set you free! THAT is the true upcoming censorship issue I would be worried about. Forget Fox and CNN. You are wasting. The guy makes a good point sticking it to the reporter, but I would argue that Beck (who steals the alternative media info and spins it), has actually put out some INCREDIBLE info about the FED and banking history in the US.

  37. 37

Re: WildOrchid1298 – If Occupy Wall Street is all about a multitude of issues not related to wall street….well then I would suggest that if it becomes a gargantuan mess, that people stay away and support 'Occupying the Federal Reserve' instead. Thus far the entire campaign is leaderless and you really have novice types so far trying to start this to get 'somewhere'. The problem with that situation is someone like George Soros coming in when it is large and in disarray and scooping it up and directing it. Much like the Koch brothers who BOUGHT OUT the Tea Party efforts with George Schultz.

  38. 38

Re: Dulcechic2020 – People who go to work everyday for banks and corporate firms should NOT be compared to Corporate heads of major banks who deal in derivatives trading that collectively collapse entire global financial systems. You don't really know what you are talking about do you.

  39. 39

    Re: caravaggio the terrible
I don't know that poster (dulcechic), but I think they were remarking that ambition pays off…and that elsewhere in the world you are often not afforded even a fraction of the free opportunity that you are in the US and that the world doesn't owe you anything. About which she/he/it is entirely correct. No need to be condescending, better she/he/it has an opinion (especially if that opinion entails that they intend to be hard working) than being completely removed, or worse…following the flock.

  40. 40

Actually if he would have started with the comment 'why are we wasting our time on things like Solyndra' I could have not wasted those minutes of my life. Obama gave away a half billion dollars people to a company that went bankrupt despite numerous warnings….

get educated, don't be impressed by big words. Remember during Bush's presidency there was a woman outside the white house protesting the war that took her son's life…she's gone now, the war continues, her son is still dead, but the left don't need to pay her to protest anymore…don't be manipuliated so easily…its embarassing…

I like the movement, although I think they need to define their message…I'm not sure thats been done, what in the end are they trying to accomplish and change?

  41. 41

    great!

  42. 42

This was totally AWESOME. I was actually cheering finally simple intelligent voice of the 99%. TEABAGGERS THE 99 IS COMING FOR THAT AZZ.

  43. 43

This guy is brilliant? Is that your synopsis? He's a talking point machine. Just because you can memorize the words "social justice" and "for profit health care doesn't work" doesn't mean you're brilliant. But then, Perez is a lefty loon, so all he has to hear is those things and "gay soldiers" and the person is brilliant. This guy is a moron. He wouldn't last three seconds with a smart person.

  44. 44

I think the real reason why Fox didn't air this clip is because they realized how horrible the reporter is. I could not follow this guy's questions, and I have a PhD. The reporter needs to go back to journalism school and learn how to ask a direct question without meandering his way through it.

  45. 45

    brilliant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  46. 46

Re: caravaggio the terrible – Obama has not done as much as he should have with the banks and wall street. BUT the reason we are in such a shit hole is because of all the deregulations that went on in Bush's presidency. And now when regulations are being put back, the right complains because they think regulation hurts the free market, even though deregulation fucked everything up.
