Amazing! Bully And Bullied UNITE To Say It Gets Better!

| Filed under: Gay Gay GayInspiration

Wow. This is one of the most powerful, inspiring It Gets Better videos that we've ever seen!

Check out the clip (above), featuring Tim Zaal and Matthew Boger, who first encountered each other in the '80s when a teenage Tim beat and assaulted the then-homeless Matthew, only for them to be reunited six years ago when both adults found themselves working at The Museum of Tolerance, having both individually matured and changed to want to fight ignorance and hate!

It's absolutely incredible to see these two moved so far past their mistakes as teenagers, and finding their way back to each other - to tell the same message!

It doesn't matter who you once were or what you've been through - there is ALWAYS the chance to come around and make it right!

As Matt says:

"The bully is also a victim. We don't know what their circumstances are, and why they're bullying."

Thank you, gentlemen, for sharing your story!

If this can't ignite a change in people's hearts, we don't know what can!

Remember, everyone -

IT GETS BETTER! You never know what the future can bring!

Today at my college, University of California, Chico, Matthew came to speak to all of the sororities about acceptance. He told us his story and all about his and tim's relationship. I was truly moved by everything he had to say. He went through more in his life then i could ever imagine. He is the perfect example to show that it really does get better. I really feel honored to hear about his story in person and i really hope more people get to opportunity to hear it. Thank you for posting this so more people can hear his truly moving story.

It boggles my mind that Perez is supposedly on this crusade to end bullying yet he berrates the shit out of Lindsay Lohan every chance he gets. Fucking hypocritical pig!!! He's the worst cyber bully of them all but the biggest bitch in person….as Will.I.Am already established.

I saw them Oprah a few years ago, incredible story from both sides.

When Matthew came to the Museum of Tolerance, Tim was already there. So he was already seeking help and change within himself. So it really is a credit to the bully that he changed. Two truly incredible guys, thank you!!!!

Great video. The "It Get's Better" project organizers should try to do more of these…get some of the bullies on to send a message to kids who are DOING bullying that it's not worth it, and that someday they'll understand the pain they caused.
