Roseanne's New 'Blue-Collar Family' Sitcom Is Headed To NBC!

roseanne returning to nbc

We knew she'd bounce back quickly after the cancellation of Roseanne's Nuts!

Back in August, we heard that Roseanne was developing a new sitcom called Downwardly Mobile, which is about "a close-knit blue-collar family living in tough economic times."

At the time we mentioned that we were truly looking forward to this show, and now we're pleased to report that the sitcom has found a new home at NBC.

The show will be produced by 20th Century Fox TV, and executive producers on the project include Roseanne, her BF John Argent, Nuts producer Steve Greener, and former Roseanne EP Eric Gilliland, who will also serve as showrunner.

Good luck, Roseanne! So excited for this show!!!!

Aw, will miss Roseanne's Nuts! It was refreshing to see her in her natural state, and the shots of Hawaii were breath-taking. Made me wanna own a farm too! Can't wait to see her new show!

This'll probably be a huge success, as this is what Roseanne does best and the timing is perfect, as most people are experiencing "blue collar hardships" right now and will relate well to the humour.

Me too. Roseanne is not afraid to say what is on her mind, there is no popularity contest with her. I love the woman.

I don't know where else to post this, but I listened to your radio show last night Perez. It was great, but far too many commercials. I love listening to radio and television that are free of advertising.
