Are Cheryl Cole And Simon Cowell Back On The Road To BFFdom???
How nice to see these two getting along once again!
To recap, back in August, Simon Cowell tried to convince Cheryl Cole to return to the UK version of X Factor instead of the US version, but she never responded and reportedly hadn't spoken to Simon since!
Then, we learned that Cheryl arrived in El Lay, and we were wondering if there was any chance that Simon could be inviting her back to X Factor US.
Doesn't look like that's going to happen, but we were pleased to hear that Cheryl made a friendly gesture towards Simon by hiring a plane to leave the following message in the sky in front of Simon's South Beach place:
"Simon Cowell is 52 today! Ha ha ha! Love Cheryl xoxo"
According to reports, Simon found this to be "hilarious," and a source had the following to say about it:
"Cheryl knows he likes to keep his birthday quiet so he thought it was very funny that she was teasing him over it. They had a strong friendship outside of work. The past couple of weeks they have been back in touch and there’s no doubt they missed each other’s friendship. Cheryl’s been totally reborn in the past few months. That’s why she doesn’t care about poking fun at Simon. And she always used to worry about what he’d think and say all the time but she has a sense of freedom now."
Ha! Cheryl also blew up Simon's b-day spot on Twitter, where she posted the following:
"Simon Cowell is '52' today…he is officially in the overs category..Hehehehehe.. (sic)"
How cute! Sounds like Cheryl found a nice way to show that there are no hard feelings with Simon, whilst simultaneously wreaking a bit of revenge against him.
What do U think? Were Cheryl Cole's b-day message towards Simon made out of love? Or was it all just a big 'F-U'?

no kidding, cause none of the "feud" was a marketing ploy for her new album and the tv show, no they'd never do something like that just to get attention…the fact some people still believe these we're fighting no wait we're made up now stories is laughable. just like montag and pratt and their we're divorced no we're not routine
may have been all for publicity
but if not- it's in her best interest to stay friendly with Simon
he took her from one of the girls in Girls Aloud (the UK pop group she was in) to super star status on her own in UK on their X Factor show
say what you will about Simon (I enjoy him actually) he has "the touch"

she is great on uk x-factor and had great chemistry with simon when he was on it. but i think i'm enjoying paula on the American version.
i don't think cheryl and paula would fit together on x-factor so i can see why she was asked to leave. i don't think her accent was anything to do with it really. i think those 2 (paula and cheryl) are too close to Simon individually causing a conflict that stops them from forming a friendship - so there would be no chemistry between the two on the show, which is needed..
notice how they took turns sitting next to simon? then when nicole comes paula gets him all to herself.
anyway enjoying paula.

yeah i agree cheryl is great. but i also like paula. but i think the two together wouldn't work because of a lack of chemistry. so one of them had to go.
